I’m happy to report that this week has been much better sleep wise. Baby boy has been waking up one or two times during the night, but after feeding him he almost always falls back asleep. So that’s a big improvement and I’m happy!!
This week we’ve had someone coming over almost every day to see our baby boy. And it has been really fun catching up and showing off our baby boy. He is almost 9 weeks already.. Crazy how fast time is flying by.
Today, I’m writing this on Saturday, we spend the morning at the beach. It has been months since I was able to really go somewhere due to my pregnancy and the lockdown. So today we drove to the beach to get away for a little while. And it was amazing. The beach wasn’t crowded at all, and our little girl loved playing in the sand. Feeling the wind and smelling the sea was definitely something my spirit needed. I felt so much better immediately.
Starting this Tuesday things are opening up a little more around here and the curfew will stop. I’m definitely excited about that, but also anxious because I really hope it won’t result in having more new COVID cases and another lockdown. We will see I guess!
I hope you guys are doing well. Tell me what you guys have been up to this week?!

Hooray for more sleep! And the day at the beach sounds wonderful – and much needed. I’m supposed to review Could Have Been Us this week but I started it late and I’m only 35% in. Oops! Guess I’ll be reading as much as possible today!
That’s not a bad way to spend your Sunday right?! 😉 I hope you’ll enjoy Could Have Been Us. I definitely enjoyed that one.
Have a great week and happy reading.
So pleased to hear your baby boy is sleeping better now, that you were able to have a lovely day on the beach, and that there are upcoming easing on your restrictions. 😃 My week has been a busy, tiring but good week, as we returned to school after a two-week break. Take care and happy reading in the coming week. 🙂
Thanks Jessica. Getting more sleep is definitely great. It makes all the difference to be honest. I didn’t feel like me anymore. LOL!
I’m glad your week back to school was good too. 😉
Happy reading!
Sounds like you had a good week. That’s nice you had so many people come and visit to see your baby boy. And you got a visit to the beach in as well. Good to hear it wasn’t as crowded. I wish things would speeds up with the vaccinations here as I don’t think I’ll really feel comfortable going out again until a big part of the people have been vaccinated. It’s good that things are opening back up, but I hope it won’t mean another surge in cases. I hope you’ll have a good week!
Yes, I totally wish those vaccionations would go faster here too. It feels like we are really damn slow here if you look at the countries around us.
Happy reading.
Hi Maureen! Glad to hear you are getting more sleep! That can only be an improvement in your general life!
I’ve only read the first 3 Bridgerton books, will get to the others eventually. Your reviews are lovely and I’m glad they bring you so much joy.
Have a good week!

Sleep is a blessing..lol You went to beach. I am so jealous. We have always lived near the water, except for the past 15 years. We are landlocked and I hate it.
Happy Reading 📚
Ow.. I really hope you are able to go to a beach too soon. It was so amazing and totally lifted our spirits.
Happy reading.
Thanks Mareli. The Bridgerton series is definitely bringing me joy at the moment. I love those books.
Happy reading. 😉
Lovely family picture. That’s great you are getting more sleep these days! I’m sure it will get even better from here.
Really love those book covers! Happy reading!
Thank you 😉 Happy reading.
Wow, your little ones are growing up so quickly…or so it seems! Enjoy them, as soon they will seemingly be teenagers and then adults, lol.
A day at the beach is always good.
Enjoy your outings, and let’s hope we are finally moving past the lockdowns.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Yes, time is definitely flying by and my babies are growing up so fast. It’s crazy.
Happy reading.
I’m glad you had a good week. I love going to the beach. It’s always so relaxing.
I have to try the Bridgerton series. I’ve heard so many good things about it.

I can’t believe it is nearly May. I love your photo and I’m glad you were able to get out a bit. It looks cold though.
Crazy right? It feels like Christmas was just a few weeks ago if you ask me! LOL!!
Happy reading.
I’ll be going to the beach in a few weeks and I’m so excited. It always lifts my spirits too!Hope you enjoy all your visits to see the wee one ❤️
Good for you! Our little outing to the beach definitely made all the difference. It felt so good being able to go somewhere and feel the wind in my hair.

9 weeks! Wow time does fly! That’s neat though that you’re having visitors to see him! Hopefully we’re nearing the end of this crazy pandemic thing and we can start getting back to normal!
And yay for the beach! That sounds awesome.
Have a super week!
Yes right?! It’s just crazy that he is already 9 weeks old.
I really hope the pandemic is ending soon too. I’m not much of a traveler, but I do miss traveling so much at the moment.
Happy reading.
Oh nice! Glad you were able to get out of the house and to the beach! Looks like you all had a great time!
Nice new reads! I still need to get myself a copy of JLA’s newest book! I am so behind on this series and it saddens me because I keep hearing amazing things…when I let myself hear them. Lol, Hope you enjoy the new lovelies!

I really hope you’ll get to reading the JLA books soon. I’m still reading the third book.. but it’s really good! Such a great series. 😉

I can only imagine how refreshing it would be to visit the beach for just a bit. Your baby boy is already 9 weeks old?! Time really does fly! I hope that you have a fantastic week. Happy reading!
Yes, crazy right? It feels like he is just here. But on the other hand, when I look at him I can’t imagine life without him.
Happy reading.
Yay for sleep! My son was super predictable when he was younger. He would wake up but a bottle would put him right back to sleep no problem. It’s nice you guys got to get outside. It’s great to get things back to somewhat of a normal life again haha
Here’s my The Sunday Post: https://www.mollysbooknook.com/the-sunday-post-blog-issues-then-a-blog-revamp/
LOL!! That sounds wonderful! Last night our baby boy seemed to get the concept.. Waking, drinking, sleeping. I hope he keeps doing that. :D:D
Happy reading.
Its GREAT weather right now in The Netherlands. My boyfriend just told me: You picked the right week to take time off from work.
Mei vakantie!! What beach did you go to? 🙂
Yay for better sleep! I just finished the first Bridgerton book. I actually can’t wait for Colin and Pen’s story! Wish it was the next book. But I’ll make myself read them in order. Have a great week!
