honestly think this week has flown by even faster than the previous once. Last Thursday
my husband unsuspectedly found out he was able to take this week off from work.
So obviously he did, and now we were able to spend this whole week before my
maternity leave ends with just the three of us. It was the perfect ending to my
leave. We did a lot of relaxing and just enjoying our baby girl.
This Friday our baby girl turned 4 months old!! |
spend much time on my blog this week, since I wanted to enjoy every minute of my
sweet girl. Crazy to think I’ve been home since the beginning of July. It sure doesn’t feel like
it now, but I guess it’s good to get used to working life again. I’ll be going back
to work for three days a week, so it’s a lot less than before Rosanne was born.
I’ll probably be exhausted this upcoming week, with working again and figuring work-life
with a little one out, so I don’t know how much blogging and reading I’ll be
able to do. But I’ll catch up! 😉
participating in the 8th annual Black Friday Book Bonanza. So go
check it out if you’re interested in doing some bookish giveaways.
If you celebrated Thanksgiving this week, I hope you had a great time! 😉

That's wonderful you got to have such a relaxing week. 3 days a week is better than full-time. Hopefully it will give you a pretty good work life balance. Good luck this week. Fit in some me time with a bit of reading. Anne – Books of My Heart
It's definitely a lot better than working full-time. I'm really thankful I'm able to work part-time now.
Happy reading!

Good luck with the return to work! I found that the first week is hard, the second week harder, then you start settling into the new normal and things get easier. 🙂
Thanks Nicci. I look forward to things getting easier already. LOL!

It was the best Laura. We were very Lucky to be able to spend this week together.

Four months of maternity leave — how lovely! And she looks like a darling little girl, so happy in the photo. I hope things go well as you head back to work. At least you're able to work a shorter week, so you still have a lot of time with your precious little one.
It was definitely amazing to be able to spend so much time with my little girl. She is just amazing! 😀
