This week
my husband and I had the week off from work. And it was a very busy week since
we are doing a makeover for our future baby room. When we first thought of what
we wanted to do in the room, it didn’t seem like so much. But boy where we wrong!
We had to choose and buy a new floor. We had to get paint for the walls, windows
and doors. And then we had to lay down the floor and paint everything. In the
meanwhile we also spend a day in baby stores to get the furniture for our baby.
It was hard work.. but we managed to do everything in a week, and I’m happy to
say we are almost done. The furniture is coming in May, but the room is so far
ready that we finally have room to put the baby stuff in. It was a busy week,
but we’re so happy to be done with the biggest part of the baby room.
building, painting and shopping, we found out our baby is a girl. A baby girl!!
We are so excited and I just can’t wait for it to be August. Now we are busy
thinking of a name. Thankfully we finally made some progress there. Which was a
surprise because we didn’t seem to like the same kind of names at all.
it was my husband’s birthday, and we spend the day doing what he wanted..
finishing the baby room and enjoying some nice food. It was a perfect day, and
we celebrated just the way he liked it.. low key and with just the two of us.
the week is almost over and it’s time to go back to work. I didn’t read and
blog as much as I wanted, since I was pretty tired at night, but I did read a
little. And that is saying much since I’ve had trouble reading for the last view
weeks.
your week? Did you read any good new books?

Wow you've been busy sounds like! Awesome that you got it done though! And congrats on knowing the gender of the baby. I remember that time. 🙂
Hope you have a great week.
Thanks Greg. It's definitely great. And we are so happy to have the babyroom done. Hopefully I now have more time for my reading. 😉
Have a great week.
Oh my, that baby set is the cutest thing ever 🙂

Have a great week and happy reading!

A girl!!! Congratulations! Girls are so much fun, I have a 24yr and 13yr old. So different than my boy for sure. Lol… The little dress set is gorgeous. Hope you have a great week.
Thanks Jenea. We're just over the moon.
Have a great week and happy reading!
Congratulations!! And I love the quote you chose! I definitely have a problem with not enough shelving…
Thank you Michelle. And when I saw this quote, I just had to share it. 😀
Have a great week and happy reading!
Oh how exciting! I loved finding out the sex of my baby. I don't know why but it made it feel even more real somehow, like this isn't 'just' a baby. It's a boy!
Good luck on choosing names. August will be here before you know it!
I definitely get what your saying. Eventhough I feel and look pregnant, knowing the sex of our baby just made it even more real.
Have a great week and happy reading.
Congrats on getting the room done! Happy birthday to your husband. Have a great week!
Aj @ Read All The Things!
Thank you AJ.
Have a great week and happy reading!
Congratulations!!! And way to go on the baby room progress!
Thank you Chrissy. We're so happy to have the baby room ready so far. Hopefully I'll have some reading time now. 😉
Have a great week and happy reading!
Congrats!
Wow at getting all of that done in a week! That's impressive.
The name thing will happen. We struggled with both of my kids. My son didn't even have a name until I was 7 or 8 months along, and even then it was only because we thought I was going into early labor. (We went with our daughter's choice.)
Thanks Shannon. It definitely was some hard work, and now we are in need of a vacation. LOL!!
Have a great week and happy reading!
