The ultimate royal bad boy is about to meet his match...

But enough is enough, and Prince Devereaux’s formidable brother King Gabriel is stepping in. No more night clubs, no more drinking, absolutely no more one-night-stands with up-and-coming models. Devereaux will step into his responsibilities, or he will be cut off.

My Review:

Sometimes I just need to read an easy romance. Especially when life gets really busy and crazy. So it seemed the perfect time for me to read ‘The Irredeemable Prince’. And who doesn’t love a romance story involving a prince? Although this is the second book in the Royal Affairs series, it can be read as a standalone.

In ‘The Irredeemable Prince’ we meet Mackenzie, a young woman who is really good in creating the perfect image for people. And a new image is definitely what Prince Devereaux of Santaliana needs. At the moment he has the image of a night-club fanatic and a player who has a new girl every night. And his brother, King Gabriel has had enough. Mackenzie is one of the best in her work, but there is definitely more to Prince Dev than meets the eye. And the attraction between the two of them is definitely coming of the pages.

‘The Irredeemable Prince’ was definitely a very nice romance. It was easy to read, but this book also has lots of twists and turns that I didn’t expect at all. Especially in the beginning of this book I loved the chemistry between Mackenzie and Dev. I really couldn’t stop reading, and I just wanted to know more about these characters.

Although the twists and turns kept going throughout the book, I did found the last part of the book going way to fast. It felt like things were a little rushed and I really wished the last part was a little slower and more detailed. The chemistry in the beginning in the book was great, but I missed that in the ending of the story.

Overall, ‘The Irredeemable Prince’ is a fun read. And it definitely sparked my interest for reading the rest of this series.

About the Author:

Alyssa enjoys writing pacy, passionate contemporary romance novels and her favourites involve some plot twists. She also writes medieval romance under the pen name Alyssa James.

Alyssa still has a busy private practice where she works as a Speech-Language Pathologist - mainly with children with developmental disorders, literacy difficulties and autism. She has also been a professional pianist and worked for Qantas Airways as an International Flight Attendant.

Alyssa lives with her husband and three children in New South Wales, Australia on a five acre property. They have a menagerie of animals and also enjoy occasional visits from deer, wallabies, echidna and the daily morning singing of numerous varieties of native birds.

Spare time is fairly limited with three children, however dinner parties with friends, gardening and playing tennis or saddling up the horses and going for a trail ride, are favourite activities.
