Zaxton Monroe is rich, powerful, infuriatingly gorgeous, and thinks I'm working for him to ruin his life. Problem is, he might not be wrong.
Zaxton
Aurelia Whitlock is an ex-stepsister I forgot long ago. Until she shows up as a design intern at my fashion company. And that's the easy part.
The part where she stirs my lifeless blood, drawing me away from my soulless, miserable side is another.
She has no business being here. Her presence far from a coincidence, the more I learn of her secrets and troubled past, the more perilous things become for me.I can't trust her. I can't fire her. And I can't claim her full lips with mine.
Now it's a keep your friends close and your enemies even closer situation. Except keeping this stunning woman who surprises me at every turn close isn't as easy as it sounds.
She's a delicious load of sunshine wrapped in smiles and enticing laughter. And did I mention the mouth on her? The one that challenges me and calls me the worst sort of names. The one I can't stop staring at or fantasizing about.
I'm in trouble. So much trouble. My former bandmates, my brothers in arms and blood, well, they're at just as much of a loss as I am on how to fix this. So where does that leave me?
In one hell of a mess with a woman who has the power to destroy everything. Including what's left of my heart.

After devouring the last series by J. Saman, I was so excited to start her new book. So when I received an ARC of ‘Irresistibly Broken’, I couldn’t wait to start reading.

The beginning of this book was a bit confusing. We start right in the middle when Aurelia and Zaxton meet. And there is talk about a previous meet, and a horrible accident with Zaxton’s previous girlfriend. And I had no idea what was going on. But I was intrigued enough to want to keep on going and luckily before I knew it I was hooked to this book.

Zaxton and Aurelia had this very intense chemistry between them that I could definitely feel flying of the pages. They seemed to hate each other, but it was obvious there was something between them. And I loved the struggle they obviously both had to stay away from each other. It sure was intense to read, and I love that.

At times I found this book to be a bit to crude for my taste. But it fitted the characters perfectly and it didn’t bother me too much. And soon this book began to have this very romantic side, and I couldn’t put it down. There where also several side characters I really loved reading about. Especially some of Zaxton’s co-workers made me laugh out loud several times.

But my favorite character was without a doubt Zaxton. There just was something about him I adored. He was so broken at first, but Aurelia changed him from the start. I loved reading his point of view. He definitely had some fun sides I loved getting to know.

‘Irresistibly Broken’ was a great read I definitely enjoyed. And I can’t wait to read what’s more in store for J. Saman in 2023.

About J. Saman

J. Saman is a USA Today bestselling author who is addicted to Diet Coke, sour candy, and indie rock. She swears way too much (especially after a glass of wine) and has a penchant for sarcasm (or so her husband and children like to tell her).

She's an admitted lover of second chance romances, love triangles, and the perfect amount of angst. She is best known for writing contemporary romance filled with smart, strong women, and sexy alphas who have a softer side--especially for their women.

I received this ARC through Grey’s Promotions.
