After reading a few previous books by J. Saman, I knew this was an author I wanted to read more about. And after getting to know the Fritz family throughout the previous books in this series, I was super excited to read the story of the oldest Fritz brother Kaplan.

In ‘Doctor Untouchable’ we read the story of Kaplan and Bianca. Kaplan is the oldest Fritz brother and has always been determined to stay single. Although his siblings all seem to be happy with their partners, he never found someone that wanted him for anything other than his money and family name. So Kaplan learned himself to be ‘Untouchable’. But from the moment Kaplan and Bianca accidentally meet, there is something different about Bianca. For one, she has enough money of her own and secondly.. she doesn’t take his crap. But Bianca has a secret, one that could change everything.

From the moment that I started reading this story about Kaplan, I knew he was going to be one of my favorite Fritz brothers. Yes he could be a bit unkind, but I loved how he desperately wanted to be left alone and just do what he loved to do. He never wanted any attention for being who he was. He wanted to work hard at saving kids life’s, and to spend time on the water. But Bianca changed things for him and the chemistry between them was just amazing and flying of the pages.

Bianca’s character was also one I loved. Sure she grew up having money, but she never took it for granted or would spend her money just because she could. She wanted to work because she didn’t want to do ‘nothing’. And I loved how she would be just like us ‘normal’ woman. Unsecure about how she looked, and afraid to be to curvy because society told her so. I sure loved getting to know her. And I really loved how Kaplan protected her right from the start.

There were some minor details about this book I didn’t love, but the great characters, the little interactions with previous characters from the series, and the great chemistry between Kaplan and Bianca made this a very enjoyable read I couldn’t put down.
