Another week has flown by and it was definitely a fun but busy week. We visited my grandmother on Monday, which was really fun. Although I’ve seen her at our home, I haven’t been able to visit her home for a long time since it is over an hour away and my body couldn’t manage that drive during my pregnancy. So it was really fun to see her in her own home again. Especially seeing her with her great-grandbabies.
On Tuesday our little girl and I had a dentist appointment. It was her very first time, and she did really well. I expected a toddler tantrum, but in the end she was just a little shy but let the dentist do her thing. I was so proud!
On Wednesday I had a coffee date with a colleague, which was definitely fun. It was also our 4th wedding anniversary (and the day we had our first date 14 years ago), so we ordered so yummy dinner and had a fun evening together.
On Thursday our baby boy got his first vaccination (from the normal vaccination program, no COVID one ?). He also did well, but in the evening it definitely bothered him. So we had a nice snuggle evening on the couch.
On Friday our little girl had her third dance class. This time I brought her, and immediately left. It was very hard to do because she started crying and calling me. But in the end it had the effect we hoped. The dance teacher told me she stopped crying soon after I left, and participated in the class very well. When I picked her up again she was telling me how much fun she had. After last weeks debacle I’m so happy!
On Saturday we went to the zoo. This week the zoo’s reopened after having been closed for almost 6 months. Since we have a subscription and live close by, we used to go there often. They have lost of animals obviously, but also a lot of play area’s for kids. So I love going there with our girl, and she had lots of fun.
Today, Sunday, we are visiting family in the afternoon. So.. definitely a busy week!

That does sound like a busy but fun week! So glad you were able to so much with your family. I was also enjoying the easing of more restrictions in the UK this week, with no masks required in our classrooms now and an indoor pub lunch! 😊 Take care and happy reading in the coming week. 🙂
I’m glad you have been able to enjoy the easing of the restrictions too. It’s amazing how happy things make us that we took for granted a year ago right?!
Wow. That is definitely a busy week! But a good kind of busy at least. And ooohhh my goodness, your picture of your kids is soooo adorable!! I love when babies are at just the right age and they open their eyes more and smile! My niece is at the stage now and she’s so adorable!
Nice new read! Totally new to me but I hope you love it once you read it!

Aah.. thanks! Yes, it’s definitely a very precious time now he is opening up his eyes more and more. He even started making these cute sounds. It’s adorable. 😀
What a great week of fun and new activities. I’m glad the medical type appts went pretty well. My daughter loved the zoo and we were members for many years.

Going to the zoo is definitely something we love to do. Especially now we have kids. 😀
I love that you got married on the anniversary of your first date! Happy anniversary 🥂
Wishing you a great reading week
Thank you. Yes, we got married on the day we had our ten year anniversary of our first date. It was very special.
Ohmygosh your kids are so cuuuuuuuute! Thanks for the update on the dance class. I’ve been wondering all week how she would do without her mama there. lol I was a super-shy little girl who clung to my Mom for dear life so I’m glad she was brave enough to participate in class.
Thank you. I’m also a very shy person.. It definitely made me scared to do things I wish I did do when I was younger. So I’m really determined to make sure our girl does what she wants and doesn’t let her shyness slow her down.
Your little ones are adorable! Zoo trips and dance lessons…I miss that age.
Thank you 🙂
Oh I am so glad the dance class worked out! Your daughter is doing big things! –the class and a dentist appointment! So nice that you were able to visit with your grandmother. Have a great week! Hope you have time for a little reading!
Thank you. And yes, it was a big week for her.
Sounds like you did some fun things! I’m happy your little girl could celebrate two successes this week: Dentist AND dance class!
What yummy dinner did you order, for your anniversary?
Congratz!
We had ‘spare ribs’.. Is that also the english word for it? LOL!! You’ll understand me 😉
Happy anniversary to you! I’m glad you had a productive week!
Thank you
