It’s the last Sunday of the year and I although I’m spending time with my family today, I decided that I just couldn’t leave this year with one last Sunday post.
I can’t believe Christmas is already over? How was your Christmas? Our Christmas was lots of fun. I spend Christmas making a four course dinner for our family and it was a lot of fun, tasted really good and just was an overall great time. I obviously made way to much, so we ended up eating it the next day too. LOL!
I got a gorgeous new kindle from my husband for Christmas which totally blew my mind and which I really really love. It reads so nice and it’s just so beautiful! Sigh.. Yes I’m a total geek. But my old kindle wasn’t working all that well anymore. I just didn’t want to spend all that money on something just for me. Well.. my husband thought I’d deserved a new kindle. So sweet! I hope your Christmas was great too! Our baby girl got a lot of new gifts and it was a lot of fun to see her get all excited and want to play with everything at the same time. She’s just getting so big!
The days after Christmas I had to work, including Saturday. But I’m free on Sunday and Monday and I’m spending it with my family and getting some reading time in.
I shared my Favorite Reads of 2019 post this week. I sure read a lot of fun books this year. I didn’t reach my Goodreads Challenges of 100 books. But I did get to 92, which I think is pretty good considering the busy year I’ve had. Up till next year.
So I hope you guys are all doing well and are enjoying some relaxing time before the new year. And.. Happy New Year my friends!

Happy New Year, Maureen. What a wonderful Hubby you have, so sweet. You Christmas sounds fantastic, a perfect celebration surrounded by family. I only had Hubby & my girls to cook for this Christmas lunch but we had my family round for supper. It was a wonderfully relaxing couple of days.
