Copper
Ridge, Oregon’s favorite bachelor is about to meet his match

If the devil wore flannel, he’d look like Ace Thompson. He’s gruff.
Opinionated. Infernally hot. The last person that Sierra West wants to ask for
a bartending job—not that she has a choice. Ever since discovering that her
“perfect” family is built on a lie, Sierra has been determined to
make it on her own. Resisting her new boss should be easy when they’re always
bickering. Until one night, the squabbling stops…and something far more
dangerous takes over.

Ace has a personal policy against messing around with staff—or with spoiled
rich girls. But there’s a steel backbone beneath Sierra’s silver-spoon
upbringing. She’s tougher than he thought, and so much more tempting. Enough to
make him want to break all his rules, even if it means risking his heart…

My Review:

A view
days ago I was in desperate need of some fun, not to complicated love story.
And I came across Maisey Yates. I’ve read the first three book in the Copper
Ridge series and loved those books. So the decision to read this fourth book in
the series was easily made. And a story about cowboys can never do wrong.

In ‘One
Night Charmer’ we follow Sierra West, the youngest daughter of one of the
richest man in Copper Ridge. And she is everything Ace Thompson doesn’t like in
a woman, except the fact that she is very beautiful. But Ace doesn’t need to
get involved with a rich girl who didn’t have to work for anything in her life.
Sierra is
used to people thinking stuff about her before even talking with her. But when she
finds out her family is anything but perfect, she has to swallow her pride and
beg for a job at Ace’s bar. And soon Ace finds out he is all wrong about
Sierra.

Like I
said before I loved reading the previous Copper Ridge books and this book is
definitely not an exception. I loved ‘One Night Charmer’ and I loved Sierra and
Ace. There were a lot of wrong assumptions in this book and I really enjoyed
reading about Sierra and Ace slowly learned the truth about one another. There was
some definite chemistry between these two and I just couldn’t stop reading.
Which is probably why I read this book in only one sitting.

I also
enjoyed the part about Ace being a bar owner. I’ve never read a book with a bar
owner as the main character and I definitely enjoyed reading about his life and
the way he did his work.

There wasn’t
really anything I didn’t like about ‘One Night Charmer’. It was definitely a
fun, easy going, romantic, cowboy story. And I can’t wait to read more books by
Maisey Yates.

About the Author:

New York
Times and USA Today Bestselling author Maisey Yates lives in rural Oregon with
her three children and her husband, whose chiseled jaw and arresting features
continue to make her swoon. She feels the epic trek she takes several times a
day from her office to her coffee maker is a true example of her pioneer
spirit. In 2009, at the age of twenty-three Maisey sold her first book.

Since then it’s been a whirlwind of sexy alpha males and happily ever afters,
and she wouldn’t have it any other way. Maisey divides her writing time between
dark, passionate category romances set just about everywhere on earth and light
sexy contemporary romances set practically in her back yard.

She believes that she clearly has the best job in the world.
