I’ve been reading Marni Mann’s books for a while now, and every time one of her new books is coming out I just get so excited. Marni Mann definitely knows how to write some intense and sexy romance stories, and her The Dalton family series is just so good. So when it was time for me to start reading ‘The Bachelor’, I started as soon as I could.

In ‘The Bachelor’ we read the story of Oaklyn and Camden. Oaklyn and Camden have known each other for years since Oaklyn’s best friend is Camden’s twin sister. Oaklyn has had a secret crush on Camden for years, but Camden is not the guy for commitments and he has never shown any interest in her. But when Oaklyn propositions Camden to help her lose her virginity, things change between instantly.

Camden never wanted more than a casual hook-up. He loves his job, and is determined to work hard and to do big things. But when Oaklyn tells him she is still a virgin, and wants him to teach her some tricks, he finds himself in awe of the woman he has known for a very long time. And how can he not want more when Oaklyn seems to be the perfect woman?

This was definitely a fun, entertaining read with a lot of spicy moments. The story starts right at the beginning, and I loved how easily I got pulled into this story. Oaklyn and Camden where definitely two fun and very different characters. But it was obvious right from the start there was something between them.

The romance was pretty intense, and started to be a lot more then ‘casual’ pretty sudden. But somehow it worked for these characters and I was rooting for them right from the start. Although the romance and Oaklyn and Camden where so fun, I mostly loved those moments where the whole family got together and we get to read a bit about how the other Dalton’s where doing. But no worries, you can read this one as a standalone.

‘The Bachelor’ was a fun, romantic read I devoured in a day. I loved the two main characters. The steamy moments where a bit to much for my taste, but I definitely enjoyed it.
