This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic:

When I read this week’s topic I got super excited. My favorite aww moments? There must be so many of these moments for me. I’m a total sucker for intense, sweet, romantic, aww.. moments. But then I started to think about which of these moments would be my favorite. Let me tell you this is kind of hard! There are so many and picking them is kind of hard. I came to five only. Although I probably will think of more in the upcoming weeks.

• Harry Meets Hagrid and Receives His Hogwarts Letter

If you guys know me a little bit, you know I’m a huge Harry Potter fan. I’ve read the complete series several times, I’ve seen the movies many times and I collect a lot of Harry Potter merchandise. And still after all these years the moment Harry finally reads his Hogwarts letter, is definitely one of my favorite moments. Why? Well, that moment didn’t only change Harry’s life.. I changed mine as well since it started my love for this character and the series.

“Harry picked it up and stared at it, his heart twanging like a giant elastic band. No one, ever, in his whole life, had written to him. Who would? He had no friends, no other relatives — he didn’t belong to the library, so he’d never even got rude notes asking for books back. Yet here it was, a letter, addressed so plainly there could be no mistake:

• Hawke and Poppy

One of my absolute favorite reads is From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I just absolutely love that book and that series. And there are many moments in this book I loved. But the one that started my love of this series, is definitely one of those aww moments.

“With my sword and with my life, I vow to keep you safe, Penellaphe,” he spoke, voice deep and smooth, reminding me of rich, decadent chocolate. “From this moment until the last moment, I am yours.”

• Bella is in love with Edward

There is a lot of talk about the Twilight books by Stephanie Meyer. And I really don’t want to get into the discussions about this series. I just want to hold onto my memory of this series that I loved when I was younger and devoured. This series definitely started my love of reading romance novels. And this was definitely one of my favorite aww moments in this book.

“About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him-and I didn’t know how potent that part might be-that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.”

• A Discovery of Witches

Funny enough another of my favorite aww moments was right at the start of ‘A Discovery of Witches’. This moment made me so excited to read this book and I remember devouring this book. This was one of those moments that was honestly magical. How can you not be curious if a book starts like this..

“It begins with absence and desire.
It begins with blood and fear.
It begins with a discovery of witches.”

• The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games was one of those books that blew my mind. I loved it, and it was horrible all at the same time. I devoured this book after starting it. And although it’s hard to pick just one moment in this book, the first time I read this, it definitely made me aww.. But a different aww than the previous once for sure.

“Happy Hunger Games! And may the odds be ever in your favor.”
