Happy Halloween!! I hope that, if you celebrated, you had fun even with all the restrictions 2020 brings us.
We spend our Halloween evening, watching The Mandalorian and reading. We are busy with painting our Baby room, so the rest of our day was spend painting, cleaning and thinking of how things would look the best. And obviously we had our little girl jumping around. It was definitely a good day.
The rest of this week went by pretty fast. I’m not even sure what I all did. My sister in law came to visit with her three kids, and one of my colleagues came over to look at some girl baby clothes. The rest of the week I had to work, which obviously all revolves Covid these days.
On Friday my grandmother turned 80. Unfortunately, due to the Covid restrictions, and my back problems I haven’t been able to visit her yet. And there obviously wasn’t a big party like we wanted to give her. But.. we facetimed.. and she looked happy. So hopefully next year!
My husband and I picked our baby boy’s name this week. It was the name we both loved from the beginning. And since we definitely haven’t got the same taste in names.. this just seemed to be destined to be our little boys name.
Since it’s already the end of October, Maureen’s Books Book Club picked it’s new read. You can still join the fun if you’d like. 😉
This Sunday we’ll finish painting, and I hope to do some blogging and reading.
I hope you guys are well!!

Happy Belated Halloween!
Thank you Billy. Happy Halloween to you too.
Glad to see you enjoyed Halloween, we didn’t do a thing here – but my daughters are too old to care. This week, we took walks in small towns and bookshops before we were all locked down again and we ate delicious cakes. You preparing for the new baby brings back a lot of memories… Enjoy !
That sounds like a lovely time with your daughters. I love that.
Happy reading.
Glad you had a peaceful, happy Halloween together – and getting the nursery ready is such a joyous time… Congratulations to your grandmother on getting to 80 and perhaps once this all blows over you can have a big family gathering:))). Have a peaceful week, Maureen.
Thank you Sarah. I sure hope we can celebrate my grandma soon.
Happy reading.
Congratulations on picking a name! Happy belated birthday to your grandma! I hope you guys have a huge party when all of this Covid thing ends. Have a wonderful week and happy reading!
Thank you Ruby. Happy reading.
I absolutely LOVED the Autumn you became mine. It was beautiful.
I’m glad you liked it. 😉 Happy reading.
Sounds like a pleasant week. Happy Halloween. Now that you’ve got the name selected its time to nest…lol Enjoy your new book!
Thanks Kimberly. The nesting has definitely begon. LOL!
Glad you had a nice Halloween, Maureen. Sounds like a lovely week all things considered.
Thanks Flora. Happy reading.
How exciting to have a name, ours were all compromises of a sort except for the third one, I’m still a little salty I lost outright, and he’s 16 🙂
Wishing you a great reading week
Name picking is definitely challenging. But this one definitely went pretty easy since we both loved this name from the beginning.
Happy reading.
Oh nice! Glad to hear you had a good week and a nice Halloween! My sister just found out the sex of her baby this week and luckily it was a girl! She and her husband had a girl’s name all settled from last time that they didn’t use and were still debating over boy’s names. And luckily for my mom, who is sewing baby #2’s Christmas stocking and stressed over the name on the stocking, the new baby also has a 4 letter name! Lol!
Nice new reads too! All totally new to me ones. I hope you enjoy them all!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!

How exciting to get your baby room painted and pick a name! I wish I could get my act together to do the book club but I can’t seem to do it right now. I hope you have a good week!
