Today I’m excited to participate in the Book Tour of ‘Six Nights In Paradise’ by Ashley Cade. This is a Contemporary Romance novel that was published on July 16th.
When I read about a new upcoming book written by Ashley Cade, I knew this was a book I wanted to read. After reading and loving ‘Something That Could Last’ and ‘Everything We Left Unsaid’ I had no doubt this would be another great read. Ashley Cade’s writing just feels like a warm hug, and I was super excited to start reading.
In ‘Six Nights In Paradise’ we meet Dalton, a hardworking guy who just got left by his fiancée only a view days before their wedding. Devastated and desperate to forget, Dalton agrees on taking his best friends little sister on his ‘honeymoon’. Taylor has had a crush on her brothers best friend forever, but he never showed any interest in her. When she finds herself agreeing on going on Dalton’s ‘honeymoon’, she keeps hoping to see something in Dalton that tells her she finally has a chance with him. But who is she kidding? The guy was supposed to get married.
‘Six Nights in Paradise’ was from the beginning a read I very much enjoyed. The two main characters Dalton and Taylor have had this chemistry between them for years. But Dalton promised his best friend to stay away from his little sister, and Taylor believes Dalton doesn’t feel anything more for her than friendship. When they find themselves on a ‘honeymoon’ together, they can’t resist their feelings for long. And I loved reading about their romance from start to finish. The chemistry they feel between them, is definitely something you can feel coming of the pages. And it was just so good!
Dalton and Taylor where definitely fun to get to know. Dalton is a hardworking, good guy who thought he had a good thing going on and was going to get married. Although he always felt something for his best friends little sister, he made a promise to another woman and he would never betray that. I loved him for that. And Taylor’s character, while slightly younger and naiver was also really fun to get to know.
This book hooked me on from the very first page till the very end. There where some moments that felt a little off to me. Like the way how easily Taylor seemed to forgive Dalton.. But it didn’t bother me to much. I just loved their story.
‘Six Nights in Paradise’ definitely was a fun, romantic, sexy, summer read.
