The first week of work after my vacation is behind me. And it was pretty good to be back at work. I always love my vacation, but having things back to normal is definitely good too. We are still living at my mother in law’s, but the date we will get the key to our own place is coming up pretty fast, and we are so excited.
The weather here has been pretty damn hot, above the 86 degrees. And although I love being able to stay outside for a long time, this is a little too hot for my taste.
I’ve been able to do some reading and blogging this week too. And I hope I’m able to prepare some future posts and read some more in the upcoming days.

It’s been pretty hot where I live, too. Yesterday, we had to crank up that A/C to really cold because the heat was just unbearable!
Genesis @ Whispering Chapters
A/C is definitely great to have at the moment! Unfortunately we don’t have any, but we managed!
Thanks for stopping by! Happy Reading!
I’ve been hearing a lot about the heat wave in Europe. It’s been oddly cool here in the US; I actually turned off the ac last night for the first time in months.
I bet you can’t wait for your own place!
Have a lovely week.
It has definitely been very hot here. The last view days have been a lot better to handle. Today it has been raining. I don’t mind at all really! I was too hot! 😀
Thanks for stopping by! Happy Reading!
Yep… Too hot. Much too hot.
Definitely! It’s much better now! 😉
I’m still surprised how we didn’t have to deal with the heat wave in Portugal. Not that I’m complaining because I hate high temperatures… So happy to hear you had a good week at work after your vacation.
Happy readings! 😉

Most years it’s the other way around! 😉 Thankfully the temperature is much better this week! Today is has been raining, and I don’t mind at all. A little less hot is definitely not so bad.
Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!
It has gotten really hot here too suddenly. Sounds steaming there! Hope you get a cooldown.
Ooh The Holiday looks right up my alley haha!
The Holiday looks and sounds great right?! I can’t wait to read that one!
Thanks for stopping by Greg. Happy Reading!
It doesn’t take long to get back into the swing of things after some time off work, does it Maureen! Lol!
Hope you manage to stay cool, you have a great week and enjoy your reads.

We hit the 100s this weekend and saw heat indexes of 118. Yeah, I love the heat but even that was a tad too hot for my taste..lol So exciting about your upcoming move. Will you be able to take any time off to settle into your new home?
Ow boy!! I think I would die!! LOL!!
Unfortunately I won’t have any real time off to settle into our new home. But since I only work three days a week, I will have some free days to do stuff. But since we’ve been living with my mother in law for almost two months now, I think I won’t even notice not being able to be at our new home all the time. Every little moment I’m able to spend there will feel great! LOL!.
Thanks for stopping by! Happy Reading!
