They call him the Wolf.
His club, his brothers, and even my best friend Callie.
I didn’t really care what they called him, not when the only name I had ever called him was, coward.
Because three months ago he snuck under my resilient heart, like the thief he is, and stole it.
Then he broke it.
Going home wasn’t an option, not when I promised Callie I’d stay. She swore I’d eventually feel like I belonged in this small town.
The club ensured I had a job, and a place to live which reluctantly earned my loyalty.
Until I discovered their little caveat.
The apartment technically belonged to the new president.
I was welcome to stay…as long as I understood it meant sharing.
And my new roommate?
The very man who turned avoidance into an Olympic sport.

From the moment I started reading my first Ashley Munoz book in September 2022 I knew this was an author I would have to keep my eyes on. Luckily I joined her ARC team shortly after, and I’ve read and loved every book she has written since then. ‘Where We Started’, the first book in the Stone Riders MC series, I read in November. And boy did I love that book! So when I received ‘Where We Belong’ I knew I needed to start reading as soon as I could.

In ‘Where We Belong’ we read the story of Killian and Laura. Both characters where introduced in the first book, and it was clear that their story would be epic as well. And it sure was! From the moment Killian and Laura meet there is this intense chemistry between them. But the last thing Killian needs right before he becomes the president of the Stone Riders, is a distraction. So Killian decides to stay away from Laura as much as possible. And when they do have to see and talk with each other, since their best friends are married,.. Killian isn’t just rude.. Nope he is horrible! But still both Killian and Laura can’t seem to stay away from each other.

‘Where We Belong’ continues right where the first book ended. And yes, you can read this book as a standalone but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. This book was so good, but I really loved it because I knew about these two through reading the first book. And I would have missed certain parts I loved now.

Killian and Laura are two totally different characters, from two totally different worlds. But there is something between them right from the start. Laura would love to explore what’s between them, but Killian seems to hate everything about her. He gives very mixed signals, and I loved reading his point of views throughout this book. At times I definitely wanted to shake him up a bit, but I simple loved him and rooted for him from the start. Not to say Laura’s point of view wasn’t as fun to read as well. These characters are simple wonderful.

The romance and chemistry between Killian and Laura is amazing. There are definitely a few very steamy moments, moments that made me swoon and sigh, and definitely also some moments that made me sit on the edge of my seat. And I loved every single page in this book. I’m still a bit shocked that I love an MC series, since I usually think they are to crude and to violent. But Ashley Munoz definitely wrote a series I love! And I would totally recommend this series to other romance readers who love a bit of suspense in there as well.

‘Where We Belong’ left me feeling impatient to read more. There are still so many characters I’m curious about and I can’t wait to read their story as well. ‘Where We Belong’ was another great read that I devoured from start till finish.
