This week was filled with ‘family’ things. And it once again flew by. I decided to work on a ‘blog plan’ for 2020 instead of feeling frustrated about not being able to do everything I want now. I figure if I have a solid plan, and am a little ahead of things in 2020, commenting and visiting everyone will be much easier. Fingers crossed!
So.. family things.. yes! I worked Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week. On Thursday my cousin came over for the day, and we made a fancy dinner. We ended up making a Beef Wellington, and some Pumpkin Pastries from the Unofficial Harry Potter cookbook. The Pastries didn’t work out the way we hoped, but we had fun.
Friday after work, my mom and her boyfriend made dinner in our home. Which was really nice since I had a hard day at work, and it was just nice not to have to think about everything. We had a fun evening catching up.
On Saturday we spend the morning and part of the afternoon at my aunt’s place. We made pancakes and went into town for a little while. Our baby girl had fun crawling through this, for her, new space. And it was just a very fun day.
Today, Sunday, my husband’s aunt and uncle are visiting to see our new home for the first time.
And in the meantime.. life has been hard lately. There’s a lot of stuff going on, and I’m doing my best to stay my positive self.. My baby girl, work, blogging and reading has been the perfect distraction. But sometimes.. it’s just hard!
Anyway.. I hope you guys are doing well! What have you been reading?

Thanks Shelleyrae. I hope you’ll have a great reading week too.
I’m sorry things are difficult right now, Maureen. You can get through it, though. Just keep an eye on all the positive stuff (like the baby and the books).
I really need to pick up something like the (Unofficial) Harry Potter Cookbook, or the World of Warcraft Cookbook, just for the occasional “treat” dinner. I love to bake, but so rarely do it 🙂
Thanks Maire. I’m doing my best. 😉
Baking is definitely fun! But I don’t have as much time for it as I’d like. But someday.. LOL!
Have a great week and happy reading!
Sometimes life is so hard. I’m glad you have a few distractions, the best of which, I’m sure, is your baby girl.
I love getting cookbooks and trying them out. I have four of them right now that are waiting for me to read and review them.
Have a lovely week!
Definitely.. my baby girl is the light of my life. She makes everything better!!
Cookbooks are the best right! I hope you’ll get to yours soon. 😉
Have a great week and happy reading!

I’m glad you are able to enjoy your family time. And having people over to your home – wow I’m not ready to have anyone over just yet. I also got Whiteout and am excited to read it. I hope you get a more comfortable schedule; have a wonderful week!
