This week has been another good one. But also a frustrating one since I’ve been having some blogging problems! It’s been a good week since the house selling thing is going good, and I’ve had some fun free days where I was able to spend some time with two girlfriends and with my husband and our baby girl. But blogging wise.. blegh!! I don’t know what’s going on but my blog is working really damn slow. Only preparing this Sunday Post is taking me more than half an hour. I’m going crazy and can’t seem to figure out what’s going on! So I haven’t been able to visit you all last week since I’ve almost thrown my laptop out of the window several times this week! Sigh.. I haven’t prepared any posts for the upcoming week yet either because everything is just so damn slow.. I was happy to be able to comment back to at least a view of you.
This Eastern weekend I’ll have to work, so there won’t be much blogging time either. My husband will try to figure out what’s going on this weekend so hopefully I’m back next week!
I hope you all are doing well!

Glad it was a good week, but I hate it when my computer or Internet connection is slow. So frustrating! Hope you have a nice Easter weekend though, even if you do have to work.
It’s definitely frustrating. But I hope I fixed it now! I’m trying it out as we speak. 🙂
I’m curious about Mr. Mister, even though I haven’t read any of E. L. James’s other books.
Enjoy your week and your books.
I loved the Fifty Shades series, so I definitely wanted to read this one. I can’t wait to start reading!
Sorry you’re still having blog problems, Maureen! Have you checked if one of your plugins might make everything slow? I had trouble with a plugin a while back – but I can’t remember which one it was. However, once I got rid of it, everything worked at normal speed again.
I can’t wait to see what you’ll think of The Mister. I haven’t read any EL James books, but I have to say I’m curious about this one.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.
Thanks Lexxie. So far it doesn’t seem to be a plugin. I’m trying a new browser now, and I deleted an email program I got. So far it seems to be working. Fingers crossed!
I definitely can’t wait to read The Mister.
Happy Easter Maureen! It’s always fun to spend quality time with loved ones! I’be had problems with the internet going in and out and my comments disappearing, so I know your frustration. Hopefully, next week is better. Take care!
Thanks Lindy. I hope you had a fun Easter. I just hate it when my computer isn’t working properly. Hopefully I was able to fix it now. I’m trying it out as we speak.
I’ve had a lot of trouble in the past few months when I’ve been trying to comment on others’ posts. I’ve tried all sorts of fixes and nothing worked perfectly. But things seem to be better this week, so who knows?
I’d like to invite you to join in at Sunday Salon on my blog each weekend, too. Sunday Salon has been around for about twelve years, but I’ve just taken over the meme, and I hope to build it up again to becoming a great place to share links and visit other blogs and talk books.
It’s so frustrating when computers don’t work the way they need too. I hope I fixed it now!
Thanks for the invite. But I don’t think it’s for me. 😉 Good luck!
I’m so sorry you’re having trouble with your blog. A few months ago, my blog was running very slow and I had to hire someone to fix it for me.
Wishes of a better week. 🙂
Thankfully I got some great help. It will work out!! It’s just frustrating because I planned so many things and now I have to do everything last minute. Blegh.
Computer and internet issues are the worst. I am never able to figure it out. Good luck!! Hopefully your husband can fix it all!
Thanks Samantha. It’s really frustrating! Especially since stuff like this always seem to happen at the worst of times. LOL!
I hope you sort through your problems Maureen! Maybe as Lexxie said it’s a plugin slowing it? Have you updated any plugin recently?
Thanks Sophie. I have updated some plugins. But it seems to be working now I’m on a different browser. Fingers-crossed!
I took a break from blogging last week too. I didn’t find the inspiration to blog, and I let it go. But I am finally back to the form after I found my mojo.
So all I am trying to say is, do not stress yourself. Have fun!
Thank Gayathri. I definitely tried not to stress to much about it. It helped that I had to work this Easter weekend.. so not a lot of time to think about it! LOL!
Grrr! It’s so frustrating when you can’t blog what you want – I had problem with the WordPress app on my tablet this week but everything was working OK on my laptop. I hope next week is better for you. x
It’s definitely frustrating! Sorry to hear about your problems with the app. I hope you where able to fix it. 😉
I hope your blog problems get fixed! Have a great week.
Thanks AJ. So far so good!
I hate any kind of computer problems but that’s because I’ve always been the fixer. I do try to run scans, defrag, backup regularly and delete old stuff I don’t need anymore. That all seems to help.
I hope you have a much better week!
Here is my Sunday Post
That is probably something I should do more. Time just seems to fly by way to fast and before I know it, it has been weeks since my last scan. Sigh.. Happy Reading!
I had a similar problem that turned out to be a plug in. Not sure which it was now though. I hope you figure things out. Hope you had a lovely Easter!
Those plugins seem to be trouble! Sigh.. I hope I fixed it now!
Computers can be so frustrating when it could be any one of a thousand things causing problems I always start with trying the basics..clearing cache/cookies etc, running diskcheck, defragging etc.
Have a great reading week.
Thanks for the tips! I tried another browser and so far it seems to work. Fingers-crossed though!
Happy Reading!
Fingers crossed your husband works out what’s causing the issues. Blogging issues are so disheartening!
I hope you have a good week!
So true. I always feel so sad when I can’t blog when I want to. It truly feels disheartening.
Sorry about the blogging issues. It works fine on my end.,
Thanks Kimberly. I’m trying a different browser now, so far it seems to be working.
I hope you had a wonderful Easter. My laptop has been acting funny so I definitely understand the frustration. I hope it starts working for you.
