https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/20727560-my-soul-immortalAn endless love, for an endless price.

Jack’s immortality is exposed when he prevents a liquor store heist, forcing
him to flee to protect his secret—a secret not even he understands. But when he
meets Leah Winters—a mirror image of his decades-lost love, Lydia—his very soul
is laid bare. He begins to question his sanity. Is she real, and if so, what
does that mean for Jack and his secret?

Jack’s not the only mystery man in town. A stranger named Artagan hints at
knowledge Jack is desperate to possess. But can he trust Artagan, or does the
dark newcomer harbor deadly secrets of his own?

As Jack’s bond with Leah grows, so does the danger to her life. Jack must
discover just how much he is willing to risk in order to save the woman he
already lost once.

When Jen
Printy approached me a view weeks ago with the question if I wanted to read and
review her book I was immediately excited. This book sounded like my kind of
book. I mean a book about love, immortality, a mystery man.. I couldn’t wait to
start reading. So a couple of days ago I finally did.
From the
very first page I really loved ‘My Soul Immortal’. This book pulled me in immediately
and I couldn’t wait to learn more about Jack Hammond. Jack is kind off a
mystery and even though you learn a lot about him in this book he stays a
mystery. (And who doesn’t love a good mystery??) Jack is a guy who’s has been
in love with a beautiful girl for a long time, Lydia. But unfortunately he lost
her a long time ago. When Jack stumbles – literary stumbles – upon Leah
Winters  he doesn’t believe his eyes.
Leah is the spitting image of Lydia. And in that moment his life changes
forever. Leah may look like Lydia but her character is different. Leah is 18
year old Art school student with an exciting secret.
What I liked
most about this book is his originality. There is nothing predictable about
this book. I have read a lot of different sort-of-fantasy books and none of
them was like ‘My Soul Immortal’. There are a lot of different aspects about
this book. There is the love, but also friendship, sadness, mystery, adventure
etc. I really couldn’t stop reading this one. Jen Printy’s writing was very
good. She pulled me into this story from the first page. If I didn’t have nightshifts
and there was no Easter, I would definitely have read this book in one day
because I really didn’t want to stop reading.
The
other thing that really got my attention in this book was the character
Artagan. Artagan is another mysterious – kind-off-dark – guy with a big secret.
He really intrigued me. And I was glad that he was part of this book. In this
book you find out why he is the guy he is, and I really loved that part.
This
book is definitely going on my favorite list. I loved the story, the romance
and the mystery.
I’m definitely a fan. I would recommend this book to every fantasy, romance,
adventure, mystery book lover out there.
My
favorite quote from this book:
Times haven’t changed all that much. Every
woman still longs for her own Mr. Darcy.’
