I, Marlow Taylor, need to stop fantasizing about the hot, single dad next door.

Should I have agreed to nanny his cute six year old who loves my dog Waffles? Absolutely not.

But her dad seems to think he can do everything himself. ( no one can)

3 reasons why I absolutely cannot fall for Dylan
1. He’s grumpy and doesn’t seem to like me very much
2.He lives next door – literally next door to my perfect pink house
3. There are no secrets in a small town

I’m an optimistic artist, never living in one place for too long.

He’s a cynical billionaire, trying to raise his kid on his own like a “normal” person.

Since I’m not going to fall for Dylan Stafford, it shouldn’t matter that he shovels my driveway or looks at me like he could devour me.

One kiss later – I, Marlow Taylor, am completely screwed.

After reading the first two books by Ann Einerson, I knew this was an author I wanted to read more books from. So when I got the opportunity to read ‘If You Give a Single Dad a Nanny’, I got super excited and started reading as soon as I could.

In ‘If You Give a Single Dad a Nanny’ we read the story of Marlow Taylor. Marlow has been moving around, working on her paintings for the last few years. Now she finds herself living in the perfect pink house in Aspen Grove, wishing she could stay here. Which is something totally unusual for her. But Marlow loves the small town. And she loves the little girl named Lola who lives next to her. Not to mention she doesn’t mind watching the little girls dad, Dylan Stafford. Even if he seems to want to stay as far away from her as possible.

When Dylan desperately needs a nanny to help him out during the week, Marlow volunteers. Marlow and Lola seem to be the perfect match. Although Dylan might have his doubts about Marlow, he can see how happy she makes his little girl. And soon Dylan is also forced to spend more time with Marlow.

‘If You Give a Single Dad a Nanny’ was a very fun read I enjoyed right from the start. The chemistry between Marlow and Dylan is flying of the pages and I loved how Marlow was able to shock Dylan so easily. Even though Dylan tries to deny he finds Marlow attractive at all, it gets harder for him to stay away the more time he spends with Marlow. And it made for some very fun moments.

Dylan and Marlow are two total opposites. Dylan is very structured, healthy and in control. Marlow is a mess who forgets to eat herself from time to time. And when she does eat, it isn’t the most healthy stuff. But somehow they work and I loved their slow burn romance. Add Lola, a lovely and sweet young girl who seems to be able to charm everyone she meets, and a wild dog named Waffles.. and to me this was a great entertaining read.

The setting of Aspen Grove was really fun as well. I love small town romance stories, and this town was definitely charming. There are some interesting side characters I’d love to get to know more and overall I just had a lot of fun reading this one.

‘If You Give a Single Dad a Nanny’ was a great start to a new series, and I can’t wait to read more. The age gap wasn’t as noticeable for me, and I loved how we got to read this story through both Dylan and Marlow’s eyes.
