Today I’m excited to participate in the Release Blitz of ‘Whatever You Need’ by S. Jones. This is a Contemporary Romance novel and it’s out NOW!
After reading my first S. Jones book ‘Whatever It Takes’ in January of last year, I knew I wanted to read more books by this author. So when I saw the sign up for ‘Whatever You Need’ I knew I wanted to read this one. And I was lucky enough to receive an ARC.
In ‘Whatever You Need’ we meet Amelia and Marco. Amelia is born in a rich family, and is the only heir of a Hotel chain. Although she has always had everything she wanted, she has worked hard for were she is. She has had every possible job in her hotel, and she treats her staff with kindness. But Amelia rarely takes time for herself. So when she meets the handsome detective Marco she is both intrigued and scared. But when he offers her one night of passion, something she has never done before, she decides it’s time to do something fun for herself for once.
But there is a connection between Amelia and Marco right from the start. And their one night together is impossible to forget for either one of them. Marco has had his heart broken years ago, and hasn’t been in a relationship since. He just isn’t the guy for a relationship.. But Amelia makes him want to be different.
‘Whatever You Need’ was definitely a book I enjoyed. I loved Marco’s character a lot. He was this hardworking detective and had this big Italian family. I enjoyed his interactions with his family and although he said he didn’t want a relationship, I loved how kind and loving he was with Amelia right from the start.
Amelia’s character was one I had a love/hate thing with. I loved how she was so hardworking and kind. And never seemed to take for granted what she was given in life. But I also found her decisions strange and I didn’t get them at all. Without revealing to much, Amelia agreed on an arrangement before she met Marco, and she didn’t tell him about it. When things got serious between them she gave Marco an ultimatum that was just really wrong if you ask me. And I didn’t like her for it at all.
But the romance in this book was very fun, and I loved how Amelia and Marco fell for each other, despite coming from such different backgrounds. Did I love everything about this read? No, but the romance part and the characters where good enough to make this a very enjoyable read for me.
