After reading the first two books in the Honey Mountain series I was hooked. This series just completely pulled me in right from the start. So when I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Make You Mine, I started reading as soon as I could.
In Make You Mine we read the story of Jace and Ashlan. Jace is a fire fighter and single dad to two beautiful little girls. After a disastrous marriage, Jace is only focused on giving his girls the best possible life. So when he is looking for a nanny and hears Ashlan is available he is really thankful and hires her right away. Ashlan is the perfect nanny for his girls, and he has known her for years since he works with her father. But he also can’t deny the attraction between them. Ashlan is everything he could ever want.. but she is almost a decade younger than him and deserves so much more.
After reading a little bit about Jace and Ashlan in the previous books in this series, I was so excited to read their story. And it didn’t disappoint one moment! These two main characters where simple wonderful to get to know. Jace is this hardworking, incredible father who definitely could use some help in his life. Ashlan might be young, but she has always been kind of an ‘old soul’ and she knows what she wants. And the chemistry between them was simple amazing.
This book was definitely very romantic. It was an amazing slow burning romance, with some heartbreaking moments as well. And I simple loved Jace and Ashlan. What I also really loved was reading about the relationship between Jace, Ashlan and their families. It definitely made me smile and laugh out loud at times.
Make You Mine is a wonderful read, set in the beautiful town of Honey Mountain. And I can’t wait to read more books in this series.

Thank you Carla. It was a great read. In my opinion this book was mildly steamy. I definitely wouldn’t describe this one as steamy really. There where some sexy moments.. but not to much 😉
