I haven’t read any books by Laura Pavlov before. But when I read about ‘Rebel’, I knew this was a book I wanted to read. I always love the Best friends little sister tribe, and this one definitely sounded fun. So when I got approved for an ARC I got super excited and started reading as soon as I could.

In ‘Rebel’ we meet the youngest Montgomery brother Jack and Monroe, Jack’s best friends little sister. Jack is known for being a womanizer, but he is also very hardworking and loves his family. When Monroe starts working for his newspaper, he can’t stop noticing how much she grew up. And when Jack and Monroe are accidentally forced to fake date each other, they are also forced to spend a lot of time together. But they soon find out that they didn’t really know each other all that well before.

Well.. where to start?! I looooooved ‘Rebel’. From the moment I started reading about Jack and Monroe I couldn’t stop. Right from the beginning their chemistry is flying of the pages, and their interactions definitely make for a lot of laugh out loud moments. And I really enjoyed reading this book from both main characters their point of view.

The character I loved the most was definitely Jack. Although he is a womanizer and can be really arrogant. There is also so much good in him. Jack is hardworking, loves his family more than anything and is just a really good guy. And when he starts to know Monroe, he also is so kind and sweet for her. Jack definitely made me swoon several times.

Monroe’s character I had to get to know a little more before I could honestly say I loved her. Monroe doesn’t trust easy, and she is kind of a jerk to Jack at the beginning. I understand why, but I also just wanted to shake her and tell her to be nice already.

The romance in this book was definitely the best. I loved the chemistry between Jack and Monroe, and how they simple couldn’t stay away from each other. There was also some suspense at the end, which I loved too.

Yes, I loved ‘Rebel’ and would definitely recommend it if you’re into romance. But also prepare yourself to add a few more books to your TBR. I for one really want to read more about these Montgomery brothers. Throughout this read we get to know the other brothers a little.. But I definitely need more.
