When I first read the book description of ‘By Mistake’ I knew this was a book I wanted to read. I just loved the idea of this story, with two hardworking characters, and an accidental email. It really sounded like a great read. Add that cute cover in the mix, and I definitely signed up for an ARC as soon as I could. Another thing that made me want to read this book.. I work as a nurse on a Traumatology department. And the main character is a Trauma surgeon. Yep! This book might have been made for me. LOL!!

In ‘By Mistake’ we meet Anna. Anna is a hardworking woman teaching many hours in a studio. Next to work, she spends her time with her best friends. And currently she is trying to get a loan to buy the studio she works at. A relationship is the last thing she is looking for. So when an email from a guy named Liam accidentally arrives in her mailbox, she decides in a nice mood to tell him he typed in the wrong address. And before Anna or Liam really knows what is happening, they start emailing every day.

Liam has a clear plan for his life. He is going to work hard to become a trauma surgeon, working crazy hours, going on Doctors Without Borders missions all to become what he always dreamed off. Then, in a couple of years he will find someone to spend his life with. What he didn’t expect at all was to meet Anna. First through emails, but when their interactions become the highlight off their days.. they decide to meet. And the chemistry between them can’t be denied. But it comes at the worst time possible.

I thought this was a book I was going to love when I read about it the first time. But I didn’t know I would love it this much! This book was just right from the beginning a great read. I loved the way the author wrote about Anna and her girlfriends. Their interactions where so fun, and I could easily imagine myself sitting in a bar with them.

And then Anna and Liam!! Well, they where such great main characters right from the start. Both characters where fun to get to know. And I loved learning about them and their lives. The way the grew closer and closer was just so fun to read about, and I couldn’t get enough of them.

The romance and chemistry between Anna and Liam was amazing. I was rooting for them right from the start. But the author definitely made us wait for it. This is a very greatly written slow burn romance, with not a lot of sexy moments.. but more than enough to make it such a fun and great read. I loved this book from start till finish.

Since this book is supposedly the first book in a new series, I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. These friends of Anna where all so fun to read about, and I can’t wait to read their stories too.
