About the Book:

Sometimes trust is the toughest lesson to learn.

Sophie Shaw is days away from signing a contract that
will fulfill her dream of owning a vineyard. For her, it’s a chance to restart
her life and put past tragedies to rest. But Duncan Jamieson’s counter offer
blows hers out to sea.
Duncan still finds Sophie as appealing as he had during
boyhood vacations to the lake. Older and wiser now, he has his own reasons for
wanting the land. His offer, however, hinges on a zoning change approval.

Bribery rumors threaten the deal and make Sophie wary of Duncan, yet she cannot
deny his appeal. When her journalistic research uncovers a Jamieson family
secret, trust becomes the hardest lesson for them both.
“Heart-tugging small town romance with
real emotion.
Struth is an author to watch!”

Sweet Spot

My Review:

When I
read the description of ‘Share The Moon’ by Sharon Struth I was immediately interested
in this story. I didn’t really know what I could expect but the cover (that’s
one good looking cover right? LOL) and the prospect of a small-town romance
story made me really excited about this book.
In ‘Share
The Moon’ we meet Sophie Shaw, a forty-four year old woman still living in the
town in which she was born. Sophie live has been hard the last couple of years.
Being a divorced mother of two teenagers isn’t exactly how she dreamed to end
up at this age. But finally there is something that makes her really happy. The
prospect of achieving her dream to open up an wine vineyard. But unfortunately for
Sophie a New York rich guy out bid her. If that isn’t worse enough, this New
York guy is Duncan Jamieson. Duncan is really handsome and he also seems to be
a decent guy but Sophie isn’t really in the position to fall for the New Yorker,
seeing she is a journalist and can’t have her feelings clouding her
journalistic judgment. Soon Sophie and Duncan are more and more attracted to
each other, but trust is something that doesn’t come easy for both of them.
From the
moment I started reading ‘Share The Moon’ I really loved it. This book was very
easy to read and it was very interesting from the very beginning. Although I
first thought this book would only be a romance novel I was pleasantly surprised
when I found a little mystery detective stuff in this story. I really enjoyed
reading about Sophie’s live in the small town, with friends she’d known her
whole life. And I really loved the romance between Sophie and Duncan. There is
so much hurt in both their lives that it was really hard for them to open up to
their feelings and to trust one another. I loved the way Duncan still remembered
everything about Sophie from when she was thirteen and he was visiting her
town. I loved how Duncan got really nervous around Sophie, although he was
always a really confident, sometimes even arrogant guy.
The
character I loved most in this book was definitely Duncan. I loved how he
learned from his mistakes and tried to change his life. I loved how he felt all
these feelings for Sophie and I loved how he struggled with those feelings and expressing
them to Sophie. I loved how he told these horrible lines to Sophie. He was just
really swoon worthy!!
In ‘Share
The Moon’ Sharon Struth really did an amazing job in getting all these feelings
across to her readers. I felt sad while reading this book, but also happy, enthusiastic
and excited. This book was just a perfect small-town- romance story and I loved
every part of it.
