GoodreadsNew York Times bestselling author Corinne Michaels brings you a new small-town, brother’s best friend romance.
In one second, my life disappeared.
My past. My memories. My future.
The only certainty I have from the last three years is that my older brother is dead, and I am the only eyewitness.
In order to protect the case, the lawyers demand that no one give me any information about my life . . . I must remember on my own. My only help comes from my brother’s best friend and world-renowned investigative reporter, Spencer Cross.
He has no idea how many nights I’ve spent dreaming of his name—and his body—next to mine.
Now we’re a team and our goal is to recover my memories and retrace my past. But each day we spend together, he’s looking at me as more than his friend’s little sister and I find it harder to want my old life back. Instead I’m wishing for a new one–with him. His kiss feels like home. His arms make me feel safe, and I never want this to end.
As my memories return, forcing me to face my future, everything falls apart... especially when I find an engagement ring hidden in my apartment. I have no idea who gave it to me, or what it means about my past.
I may have asked Spencer to help me remember, but now I wish I could forget.
I’ve been a huge fan of Corinne Michaels for a few years now. And I’ve read almost all of her recent books. So when I got the opportunity to sign up for ‘Help Me Remember’, book one in the new Rose Canyon series, I couldn’t resist. I signed up as soon as possible and when I received the ARC I was thrilled and started reading as soon as possible.
In ‘Help Me Remember’ we meet Brielle. Brielle wakes up in the hospital not remembering the last three years. Not only doesn’t she remember what happened to end up in the hospital, she also doesn’t remember who and what is going on in her life at the moment. And more importantly, she doesn’t remember who killed her brother and left her for dead.
Now all Brielle wants to do is get her memories back, and find out what happened to her brother. But everyone seems reluctant to help because it might jeopardize her brothers case. Fortunately her brothers best friend Spencer is an investigative reporter, and he seems to be the only one that wants to help her. Together they try to find out what was going on in Brielle’s life these last three years.
‘Help Me Remember’ was definitely one of those books I couldn’t put down. I loved getting to know Brielle and Spencer. And above all I loved how unique this story was. Brielle’s journey to get back her memories really kept me hooked. And I simple didn’t want to stop reading till I read every single page.
To be completely honest I figured out what was going on pretty quickly, but it didn’t bother me at all and still made this a very entertaining read. The romance was fun, and I loved the chemistry between Brielle and Spencer. There also were some suspense filled moments, which kept me sitting on the edge of my seat.
Yes, this was a very fun and romantic read and above all it made me want to read more books in this series. The Rose Canyon series, is definitely one I’d recommend and can’t wait to continue reading.

I was sad when I didn’t get an arc for this one but I did pre-order it so my physical copy should be delivered and waiting at home for me tonight. 🙂 I can’t wait to meet Brielle and Spencer. And even if certain aspects are obvious, I’m know I’m still going to enjoy the experience!
