Five years ago, he broke her heart. Now, he’ll do anything to win her back. FARRAH When Farrah walked into her lunch meeting, she didn’t expect to see him. Blake Ryan. Her first love. Her first heartbreak. And now, her first client as a freelance interior designer. It’s been five years, but she’ll never forget the way he shattered her. He whispers pretty words, but she’ll never believe him. Her body craves his, but she’ll never give him her heart. Not again. Not ever. BLAKE Money. Looks. A booming sports bar empire. On the surface, Blake has it all. But inside, he's haunted—both by nightmares of a tragic loss, and dreams of the girl he once betrayed. When fate reunites them, he sees it as a sign: It’s time to get the love of his life back. No matter what it takes. If the Sun Never Sets is book two of the If Love duet. It's a steamy, angsty second chance romance with plenty of groveling and an HEA.

In July I read ‘If We Ever Meet Again’, the first book in the If Love Duet. I really enjoyed that book and was anxious to read the second book. So when I got the opportunity to read ‘If The Sun Never Sets Again’ I started reading as soon as possible.

‘If The Sun Never Sets Again’ begins five years after the moment where the first book ended. Farrah and Blake have both had very busy lives. Blake has build a sports bar empire. And Farrah has a great job as an interior designer. When they both find themselves in New York, and accidentally meet it seems like fate.

I enjoyed the first book, but I loved this book. This book felt so much more grown up. Yes, the characters where more my age than in the previous book, but the romance and chemistry between Farrah and Blake also just felt much more real to me. And I could easily connect with the emotions both characters went through.

While Farrah obviously cared for Blake, he broke her heart all those years ago and she wasn’t easily convinced this time things would be different. I definitely got that, and I loved how strong her character was.

‘If The Sun Never Sets Again’ was the perfect conclusion to this duet. I loved how Ana Huang was able to get this perfect, real ending for these two characters. The questions I was left with after reading the first book, where now answered. Overall the If Love Duet was definitely a great read.

Check out my review of the first book here:

Ana Huang is an Amazon best-selling author of New Adult and contemporary romance. Her books often feature strong heroines, sexy heroes, and Asian American characters. Ana lives in New York, where she prefers cafe-hopping, exploring the city’s hidden gems, and binge-watching Netflix with a pint of Ben & Jerry’s over taking advantage of the city’s nightlife. She doesn’t drink coffee (!) but absolutely lives for matcha and chai lattes.
