My Review:
Jayne Ann Krentz, I was super excited. I really enjoy Jayne’s writing. I love
her contemporary novels written as Jayne Ann Krentz, I love her historical
novels as Amanda Quick and I love her futuristic novels as Jayne Castle. I just
love every genre Jayne writes. So I couldn’t wait to start reading this book.
series and tells the story of Ella Morgan. Ella’s whole life has been centered
about lies. Nobody outside Ella’s family can know what she really is, a Siren:
a paranormal singer capable of singing men to sleep or to their deaths. But
when Rafe Coppersmith finds out about Ella’s ‘gift’, he doesn’t respond the way
Ella thought he would. Instead of running away, he offers her a job. And soon
Ella and Rafe can’t deny there’s more to their feelings then only a
professional relationship.
a.k.a. Jayne Ann Krentz, is the way they are all easy to follow and from the
very first page very addictive. Somehow I always want to keep on reading when I
start one of her books. ‘Siren’s Call’ is no acceptation. From the very first
page I was hooked. The book immediately begins with an action scene and the
main characters are introduced with a bang. I love this.
and has learned the hard way that she can’t share her real identity with other
people. This not only made her live her life filled with lies, but it also
thought her that her ‘gift’ was somehow wrong. When she meets Rafe, she slowly
learns that her ‘gift’ isn’t so bad at all.
about. Tough on the outside but so sweet when you get to know him. I especially
loved the way he showed his true feelings to Ella.
to read. I loved how these two characters interacted with each other. They were
both immediately aware of the chemistry they shared, but they didn’t give in
that easy.
it felt as a ‘side’ part of this book it was good enough to keep me interested
till the very end.
have the time for a big reading commitment. It’s easy to read, not very
complicated and it has a nice paranormal storyline. And above all there are
dust bunnies!! Before my first book by Jayne Castle, I didn’t even know what a
dust bunny was.. but now I’m hooked. I
want one!!
