Nov
screenwriter of the Netflix Original viral hit, A Christmas Prince, comes another heartwarming
holiday story about a beautiful Grinch who’s determined to get her dream job
even if it means spending a week at a Christmas Camp where she discovers an
unexpected love—soon to be a Hallmark movie.
Haley Anders’ idea of the perfect Christmas is escaping to the Caribbean to
work so she can avoid all the traditional Christmas distractions. Over the
years, she’s sacrificed her personal life to climb the corporate ladder at a
prestigious Boston advertising agency. Now she just needs to land a coveted
Christmas toy company account to make partner. But first, her boss, Larry,
thinks she needs a holiday attitude adjustment, so he ships her off to a
Christmas Camp at Holly Peak Inn to help her find her Christmas spirit.
Arriving at the charming mountainside inn, Haley meets the owner’s handsome
son, Jeff, and feels an instant spark, but resists the attraction, refusing to
be distracted from her goal of doing all the required Christmas tasks as fast
as possible so she can get back to work.
At first Haley struggles with all the traditional Christmas Camp activities.
It’s not until she finally allows herself to slow down, live in the moment, and
let Christmas back into her heart, that she begins to grow closer to Jeff. But
when he finds out Haley’s come up with a plan to help his dad save the
struggling inn while he’s been trying to convince his dad to sell it, their
relationship takes a serious holiday hit. Now it will take the magic of
the season to bring these two hearts together.

My Review:
looking on Netgalley the other day and saw the cover of ‘Christmas Camp’ I knew
I really wanted to read this book. It just looks so pretty and cozy. And after
I read the book description, I was even more excited to read this book. I love
Christmas books, I love Romance, and I loved the Netflix movie ‘A Christmas
Prince’.. So when I saw this book was written by the screenwriter of ‘A
Christmas Prince’ I dropped everything and started reading.
‘Christmas Camp’ we meet Haley Anders. Haley has worked really hard to become
one of the best at the Boston advertising agency. And the fact she doesn’t
really have a personal life, and doesn’t celebrate Christmas makes her only
more determined to do her absolute best. But when a new account comes to the
company, who happens to be one of the biggest Christmas Toy companies she is
determined to get the account. All she has to do is get a certificate at
Christmas Camp. Christmas Camp is the perfect place to get into Christmas.
There are lots of activities and there is a very handsome son of the owner,
Jeff.
moment I started reading ‘Christmas Camp’ I was hooked. I loved reading about
Haley and her journey to get her Christmas spirit. Haley is so used to working
hard all day, everyday that she forgot to life. And it was so fun to read how
she slowly unwind at Camp. And how recognizable, I mean aren’t we all a little
too hooked on our phones and work these days? The chemistry between Haley and
Jeff is there from the very beginning. But they don’t see eye to eye about this
camp at all. And it was super fun to read about there interactions.
Christmas Camp.. Well, if there was a Christmas Camp here I would totally go.
It sounded amazing. A cozy Christmas hotel in the mountains. Snow everywhere.
Christmas decorations everywhere.. It sounds amazing. And those activities.. I
would love it!! And I loved how this book was able to make me even more excited
about Christmas than I was before I started reading.
was a perfect romantic Christmas read. I loved everything about it and couldn’t
put it down. I put some Christmas music up in the background and it was just
amazing. I wanted to get my Christmas decorations ASAP. (Unfortunately, my
husband wouldn’t agree on Christmas decorations in October!! LOL!!)
me, ‘Christmas Camp’ will be a great movie as well. And like this cover says, this definitely is a
magical feel-good holiday read!

This does look like a book you should read snuggled up next to a fire! I've been reading a lot of holiday romance for the #HoHoHoRAT, so I'll definitely be adding this one to my list of possible reads. Thanks for sharing! I'm really happy this one was so great for you.

If you love holiday romance novels than this is definitely a perfect read. I just loved it!! I didn't read it for #HoHoHoRAT, but it would have been a perfect pick. Good luck with the readathon. 😉
This sounds like a fun and sweet read, Maureen. And I do like the idea of a Christmas Camp. Sometimes it's hard to get "in the spirit" but a camp in the snowy mountains would do the trick! 😉 The perfect romantic setting. Haha I'm happy you enjoyed this one so well.
Ow I definitely enjoyed this book. It was just a great book that totally put me into the Christmas spirit. 😉
