Today I’m super excited to participate in the Blog Tour
of ‘The Moment of Letting Go’ by J.A. Redmerski. This is a standalone New Adult
novel by the New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author. ‘The Moment of Letting Go’ will be published by Piatkus in paperback original on September 3rd.
About the Book:
far her plans have been working. Right after college, she got a prestigious job
and gained the stability she’d always craved – until work takes her to the
sun-drenched shores of Oahu and places her in the path of sexy surfer Luke
Everett. For the first time, she lets her heart take control. Drawn to his
carefree charm, she makes a spontaneous and very un-Sienna-like decision to
drop everything and stay in Hawaii for two more weeks.
convinced that some no-strings-attached fun is just what she needs. As their
nights quickly turn from playful to passionate, Luke can’t deny the deep
connection he feels. But there’s a reason Luke doesn’t do long-term. He can’t
promise Sienna forever, when the enormity of his past has shown him just how
fragile the future can be . . .
My Review:
received this invite to participate in the Blog Tour. But from the moment I
read the book description and saw that cover, I knew I wanted to read this
book.
a twenty two year old whose life is planned every step of the way. Sienna grew
up in a poor family, but now she is changing her life by working for a high
paid planning agency. Sienna works hard and almost never takes a break.
first time Sienna wishes she had more free time. Especially when she meets
surfer Luke Everett.
a couple of years. Luke’s life has recently been turned upside down. Now the
only thing he wants is to have some fun and forget. But when Luke meets Sienna
he finds himself feeling things he never imagined. But Sienna and Luke live two
very different lives, and there is a reason why Luke isn’t able to do the long
term thing.
least that is how it works for me. I am a person who can feel the emotions that
are written inside a book. I can cry about a book, laugh about a book, feel
angry about a book, feel frustrated about a book and I can love or hate the characters
inside a book. Books make me feel many different things. This book put a smile
on face, made me cry and it really made me think about my own life!! Yep, this
book was just that good!!
They both are very different on the outside but when you get to know them a
little better, you realize that they also have a lot in common.
She never had much growing up, and now she has the opportunity to work hard,
have a big pay check and to help out her parents that gave up everything for
her, so she could have a good life. She really doesn’t know how to relax
anymore. And although I’m not like her I can totally understand the way she works
her butt of and isn’t able to relax because she wants so many things in life.
himself that way, but he is kind, caring, beautiful and he is able to see
things in a certain perspective that is really admiring. But if you get to know
Luke better, you see that he is also very hurt, and that there’s a lot going on
in his life. He lives his life in Hawaii, doing the things he loves without
worrying much about tomorrow. Truly admiring.
Their connection was instant, pure and I could feel it in my heart. It was just
a beautiful story, I couldn’t get enough of. I loved the characters, I loved
the scenery and above all I loved the writing. J.A. Redmerski really had this
hidden message in this book. At least that is what I think. Not only is it this
book’s title.. but you also really learn about the moment of letting go.. And I
can’t stop thinking about it.
stay with me for a long time.
