Fourteen years ago Lorelei Parker fell in love with her best friend, Cole
Williams, but instead of forever she ended up with a broken heart. Now, if they
can put their past behind them, Lorelei and Cole may find a second chance.

Book 2: Once Again
Evie Barker works hard, takes care of her ailing mother, and finds pleasure in
her simple life. The memory of a complicated childhood is all that remains of
the old days—And good riddance.
Grady Duke blew out of town before the ink on his high
school diploma was dry. A six year stint in the Marine Corps gave him a good
dose of the real world. Returning home, sixteen years later, Ph.D in hand, the
last person he expects to find next door is Evie.
Neither can escape the memory of one reckless summer
together nor the wild attraction they still feel. But taking risks is not
in Evie’s disposition. Even if Grady is the one man who can offer her
the happiness she’s been missing. But he could also break her in an
unimaginable way. Regardless, Grady must atone for the past and prove he’s
worth a second chance.
Book 3: Reason to Stay
Shea Barker ran away on a greyhound ten years ago. Now a rising Nashville
song-writer, determined to make it on her own, she’s set her eyes on everything
but her past.
When her momma’s funeral forces her back to her hometown,
she has no intention of staying longer than necessary. Until she meets Leo
Marshall, the soft spoken journalist who sees her for who she wants to be, and
suddenly a future she never expected opens up. Maybe her lyrics aren’t the only
place where love is found.
Book 4: He’s the One
Having given up on the dream of a husband but refusing to give up the dream of
a baby, Melinda Bane is putting her eggs into the sperm bank basket. When a
fire puts her dreams on hold, she turns to her oldest friend Jared to help her
through, like he always has.
Jared doesn’t mind running to help his brother’s ex-wife,
Melinda, whenever she needs him. But while helping her repair her sunroom and
learning of her hopes for a family, Jared has an idea of how he can fix even
more than her home.
Book 5: Kiss me Again
Andee’s ten-year marriage has lost its spark. Whether it’s attending couples
counseling or a BDSM dungeon, Andee will do whatever it takes to reignite
the flame. But when all her measures fail and leave her frustrated, Andee
wonders if anything will rekindle the fire she so desperately desires.

Guest Post ‘Evie and Grady: Then and Now’:

Evie Barker had a hard childhood. There’s no doubt about
that. One highlight of her youth was the one summer, before her sophomore year,
that she spent with Grady Duke. With him, she found laughter and moments of
carefree happiness. For Grady, Evie was the one girl who expected nothing from
him other than his company, and that he was more than willing to provide. She
was easy to be with.
Their summer together began when Grady saw Evie walking
to work. He, a stocker for the local grocery story, Publix, recognized her as
one of the new cashiers. As she walked the busy four lane road, the early
morning and already hot Florida sun beating down on her red hair, True by
George Strait played on the radio and the urge to see her up close made him cut
off several cars to get to the shoulder. He can’t look at her now without
hearing that timeless ballad.
Coincidentally, their work schedule always seemed to line
up and before they knew it he was coming by her house to take her to work and
waiting outside in the parking lot to take her home.
Their story spans years. Two people afraid to love,
neither sure if they deserve it or are worthy of it, come together for a second
chance, ready to take a leap that will change their lives forever.

Here is their playlist: Many of the songs were simply
played often on the ride to or from work and set the backdrop for those
memories.

Act One: The Early Years:
Smells like Teen Spirit- Nirvana
Bring me to life- Evanescence
We Belong Together- Mariah Carey (On the radio the night
they shared at the lake)
Time after Time- Cyndi Lauper
Welcome to the Jungle- Guns and Roses
Act Two: The do-over:
I Think About You Everyday- A Rocket to the Moon
Iris- Goo Goo Dolls
How You Get the Girl- Taylor Swift
So it Goes- Opus Orange
Godd**n You’re Beautiful- Chester See

My Review:

A couple of weeks ago I received the invitation to
participate in the Blog Tour of ‘Love Comes Home’. Since I love reading romance
novels, this collection of stories sounded like the perfect read for moments
when I don’t have much time to read. So I was really excited to learn I got a
stop in the tour.
‘Love Comes Home’ was a really fun read. The stories are
sweet, romantic and very easy to read. ‘Love Comes Home’ exists out of five
different short stories and it was perfect to read in my lunch break at work,
or before going to sleep when it was already really late and I didn’t have a
lot of time.
http://www.amazon.com/Girl-He-Knows-Kristi-Rose-ebook/dp/B00KYUNEHM/The characters in these different stories are not very
complicated to get to know. With a short introduction you feel like you’ve
known the characters for a while.  They
work, they live in a small town and they fall passionately in love. A lovely
concept for a book to read in this time-is-money era.
The stories are a kind of predictable, but the writing
made it fun to read and I really loved how I just knew these were going to be
stories with a happy ending. It’s the perfect read when you need to relax and
need some easy romance.
The story I liked the most was ‘Second Chances’. I just
loved the main characters Lorelei and Cole. Especially Lorelei’s character was
fun to read about. I loved how feisty she was, and how she worked really hard
to get to where she was. Especially the whole having a breakfast restaurant was
something I really liked reading about. We don’t have those kind of restaurant’s
here in the Netherlands, so reading about Lorelei and Andee’s place made my
imagination go wild. I would definitely visit that place if I could!!
I definitely recommend this book if you are a romance
lover with a very busy life. This book is perfect to read because the stories
are just so short, and still very entertaining. I honestly wished this book was
longer so I had more of these short stories to read. It was a perfect
in-between book!
