Demi Crawford was Magnolia Falls royalty. I was the boxer from the wrong side of the tracks. She was the epitome of everything good, while I was broody and rebellious. We couldn’t be more different. Her family was enemy number one which made her guilty by association.
I despised her before I even knew her.
It was easier that way. But now she’d moved in next door to me, and she was everywhere I turned. I couldn’t avoid her no matter how hard I tried. She was beautiful and honest and sweet. Everything I knew I shouldn’t want.Shouldn’t need.
They say there’s a fine line between love and hate—and I don’t know when I crossed over. I was so wrapped up in this girl I couldn’t see straight.
She was the right hook I never saw coming.
Hating her was supposed to be my end game. Loving her… well, that was just the beginning. But the secrets that lived between us threatened to tear us apart. Lucky for her—I was a born fighter.
And she was definitely worth the fight.

Laura Pavlov has written some of my favorite series. So when I learned about her next series Magnolia Falls, I got super excited. Luckily I’m part of her ARC team, and I when I received the ARC I dived right in. And btw… have you seen that cover?! Love it!

In ‘Loving Romeo’ we read the story of Romeo Knight and Demi Crawford. They both grew up in the same small town, but they never really got to know each other. They where from two very different parts of town. Romeo has had a hard childhood, spend some months in jail and has learned the hard way rich people can’t be trusted. But despite having lived a hard life, he has a group of solid friends he would do anything for and vice versa.

Demi Crawford grew up rich. Her parents and grandparents made sure she’d never wanted for anything. She has been away for school for years and now she has come back to town determined to show people she works hard, even though she might have a rich family. From the moment Romeo and Demi meet there is this chemistry between them. But Romeo at the same time, also seems to hate her guts. Why? Demi has no clue. But the more time they spend together, the closer they get. But there are a lot of secrets between them, and they grew up in totally different worlds. How could this ever work?

‘Loving Romeo’ was a fun and charming read I enjoyed right from the start. We get to read the story of Romeo and Demi through both their point of views, which was simple great. I loved them both. They where two totally different people, but they had two things in common: they both work hard for what they want, and they love big. The chemistry between them was amazing.

I loved that we got to read about Romeo’s journey to prepare for an epic fight as an boxer, next to some fun romance. I loved reading how hard he worked, and how Demi tried to help him as best as she good. The moment we get to read about Romeo’s fight, I was sitting on the edge of my seat, cheering him on right next to Demi.

‘Loving Romeo’ was a wonderful read and a great start to a new series. I loved getting to know Romeo and Demi and I can’t wait to read the stories of Romeo’s friends as well. Magnolia Falls promises to be another great small town for a series.
