In April I received a review request from Echo Grayce to be on her ARC team. When I read the book description of ‘Penalty Box’, I knew this was a book that I wanted to read. So I signed up and started reading as soon as I could.

In ‘Penalty Box’ we meet Jackson and Savannah. Jackson and Savannah have always had this intense relationship. He was the bad guy, she was the one with a bright future ahead of her. And every time Jackson thought Savannah would stay, she left town and broke his heart. Now Jackson has turned his life around and worked hard for a successful business. But then Savannah comes back into town, and she is definitely in trouble. And even if Jackson knows he is probably better off without interfering.. he has never been able to stay away from her.

‘Penalty Box’ is a short story, but definitely a good one. It reads as a novella, and things move really fast, but I really enjoyed it. It’s one of those reads you can easily read before bed, and although you loved it like a short read.. you also really want more. LOL!!

The chemistry between Jackson and Savannah is definitely intense. There were some hot and sexy moments between these two, and also a bit of suspense to keep things interesting. (As if we could lose interest while reading about Jackson and Savannah! )

‘Penalty Box’ was a great read that definitely made me very curious about what is coming next in this series.
