A.L. Jackson is one of those authors I’ve loved every single book of so far. I haven’t read all her books yet, but let me tell you.. The once I did read where amazing, and I can’t wait to read more. So when I received a sign up for an ARC of book one of a brand new series.. I couldn’t sign up fast enough. And I’m one lucky lady to have received an ARC! And I started reading as soon as possible.

In ‘Give Me A Reason’ we meet Eden Murphy. Eden is a teacher who loves her job more than anything. She loves kids, and will do everything to make sure she is able to keep her job. That even means she is willing do take a second job working in a club that makes her very uncomfortable. So when she meets the owner of the club Trent Lawson, Eden is determined to make him give her the job. But when Trent lays eyes on Eden, he knows she doesn’t belong in his world. But that doesn’t make him wish it was different.

From the moment I stared reading ‘Give Me a Reason’ I was hooked. Eden and Trent are two characters that couldn’t be any more different. But I loved everything about them. They say opposites attract. Well, that’s definitely the case in this book and the chemistry between these two characters are flying of the pages.

There are plenty of romantic, sweet and sexy moments in this book. I mean.. Trent is one sexy tattoo filled bad boy. Sigh.. But there is also some mystery and suspense going on and it kept me reading till the very end. I loved the fact we also read a bit about past moments. It made this book very interesting and it sure gave me the answers I was looking for.

One thing I really love about A.L. Jackson’s books, is the fact we get to read a little tiny bit about a character from one of her other books. I love that. It’s just a little passing moment, nothing you will notice if you haven’t read one of her other books.. But I definitely notice it and I love it!

‘Give Me A Reason’ is the first book in a new series, and I definitely can’t wait to read more. I can’t wait to read more about these Lawson brothers. Another great read by A.L. Jackson for sure.
