Another week has flown by and thinking back about this week I wonder where the time went. Crazy! I read, I did some blogging, we went to the zoo, we visited our daughters daycare who celebrated their 30th anniversary and today we will celebrate father’s day here in Holland. It just doesn’t sound like this fills seven days, but somehow it did. I still have one week and a half of vacation left and the weather should be getting warmer next week. I hope to get some more reading done.
We are still at my mother in laws, and although it is still going very well and we are enjoying our time here. We simple can’t wait to be able to go ‘home’. A place for just the three of us where we can find our stuff. LOL!! But we can’t complain.
This week the Love More sweatshirt I won as a promoter for the book ‘A Love Letter Life’ by Jeremy and Audrey Roloff finally arrived. It’s so comfy and I’m never taking it off!! (Visit the Always More store for more info about this sweatshirt)
And last but not least.. I’m planning our daughters first birthday party that is coming up in August. How is she turning one already? Crazy!!

I thought this week flew by! I can relate. And I love going to the zoo. It’s always fun!
Enjoy the rest of your vacation! 🙂
It really is fun. I can’t go often enough! Especially with our baby girl.
Have a great week Greg and Happy Reading!
It seems to me that you had a pretty great week Maureen! I just hope that you’ll find your perfect home soon enough xoxo
I sure did Sophie. We did find our perfect new home.. We’ll get the key on July 18th. We can’t wait!
Have a great week and happy reading.
I totally understand the need for a place of our own. Usually after every vacation at our grandma’s place I used to rush back to our rooms and stay in for a while. I need that solace. And hoping off to the zoo seems tempting.
I definitely know whay you mean Gayathri. We definitely miss a place of our own. But we really do have it good here. It’s so kind of my mother in law to let us stay here.
Have a great week and happy reading.
I haven’t written a Sunday Post this week but thought I’d still visit some friendly bloggers 😉
It is amazing (or scary) how busy a week can become. 😉 It’s lovely being all together at your mother-in-laws but I understand the need your your own space and family home. <3
I hope you have a great week and enjoy your reads, Maureen. x
Flora.
@Flora’s Musings…
It really is Flora. One minute it’s the weekend and the next it seems to be Friday again. Crazy!
I hope you’re having a great week so far. 😉
Happy reading.
Hope your daughter has a wonderful birthday!
Thanks Ronyell. It’s crazy how fast this year has flown by.
Have a great week and happy reading.
Time goes so quickly with little ones! I’m constantly amazed my kid is 8! Enjoy the party planning, it’s a special birthday. I always feel like the first birthday isn’t for the baby so much as for you. She won’t remember but you will and it’ll be one of the most precious ones.
Ow wow.. 8 years old. Yes time flies so fast. It still feels like yesterday when I was able to hold her in my arms for the first time.
Have a great week and happy reading.
Sounds like you are having a lovely time even if the week flew by.
I sure am having a lovely time. 😉
Have a great week and happy reading!
My daughter’s birthday is in August too! First birthdays are so special. Have fun on your time off, and I hope you find a place to call “:home” soon.
Thanks Lindy. Only a view more weeks left before we get the key to our new home and the renovations begin. I can’t wait!
Have a great week and happy reading!
I love you having this time off to do things. Hopefully you will have a new place soon too. I have my closing next Friday, so then I start with the contractors and movers. I can’t decide if I am well organized or not. We will see. I will have to make up for any deficiencies in packing in July. Have a lovely week!
Here is my Sunday Post
Thanks Anne. I really have been enjoying my time off. But as usually time flies by way to fast.
Good luck with your packing and the contractors etc. It’s a busy time fore sure.
Have a great week and happy reading.
