Jan
it’s not hard to pick a favorite holiday at all. I’ve had a favorite holiday
all my life: Christmas. It’s only January so Christmas is still fresh in our
memories and I love thinking back on that time of year. And there are many
things I love about Christmas.
I love the
way there are a lot of lights everywhere around Christmas time. It’s like the
whole world is led up. It feels nice, cozy and romantic to me. I love the
Christmas songs on the radio, I love the nice food, the dressing up part, the
Christmas tree. Sigh.. There isn’t anything I don’t love about Christmas
really.
And then
we haven’t even talked about Christmas presents. I love buying Christmas
presents for my fiancé and family. Usually I start buying Christmas presents in
September, and I think it’s so much fun. And it really isn’t about the presents.
I love to spend Christmas surrounded by the people I love, and having fun with
them while opening presents. It’s just the best time to me. Christmas songs,
good fun, laughter, the people I love next to me.. There is nothing better.
As a nurse
I’ve been working at Christmas many times over the years. And although it’s
work it always feels special working that time of year. I always try to wear Christmas
earrings and add a fun element of Christmas with a button on my uniform. For example
a Christmas tree. Sigh.. Yes.. I’m already looking forward to Christmas this
year.

I think my favorite holiday is Christmas as well. My favorite part is the weeks leading up to Christmas, the happy and loving feeling that seems to be everywhere. And ofcourse the lights, I like seeing the light everywhere. I still haven't removed our Christmas tree from the house so it still feels a little bit like Christmas here.
I totally agree. The weeks before Christmas are definitely great. They all feel kind of special too.
You still have your Christmas tree? Wow. I got rid of mine of January 1st. For one because there were needles everywhere, and second because I wanted my house to clean again.
Thanks for stopping by!
My favorite is Christmas too.
Definitely the best holiday!! 😀

Love your meme idea, Maureen.
Christmas is a lovely holiday with so many good things. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I know it's not a world-wide holiday, but I love autumn and I love how this holiday is the sweet moment near the end of autumn to spend with family and kicks off the Christmas holiday season in the States.
Thanks Sophia. 🙂
Thanksgiving definitely sounds like a great holiday. We don't celebrate it where I live, but I always look for the photos and content that is shared on social media. It looks always so good!

I love Christmas, too. The lights and the cheer make me love the holiday in a different light as an adult.
Christmas is definitely the best. It has a really magical feel to it and I always love decorating our home with all those pretty lights.
Thanks for stopping by! 😉
My favorite holiday is Christmas, too. And I agree about the Christmas lights. They make everything magical and special and cozy. I wish we could leave them up all year. =)
Me too! I miss those lights! The world looks much prettier with those lights hanging everywhere! 😉
