After I read ‘Falling For Sarah’ and ‘Saving Sophie’ I
just knew I needed to read more books in the Bodyguards of L.A. County series.
So when I was approached to read the sixth book in the series called ‘Justice
For Abby’, I was super excited and started reading as fast as possible. I love
that these books are standalones but still have the same characters. And I
definitely plan to read all of them.

‘Justice For Abby’ is the story of designer Abigail
Harris. Abby went through something horrific a few months ago and is going to
testify to put the man responsible in jail. But doing that makes her a target
yet again. Former US Marshal, Jerrod Quinn is signed to be Abby’s bodyguard.
Not only is this a dangerous job, but spending time with the beautiful but traumatized
Abby makes Jerrod feel things he didn’t know possible. But he can’t fall for
his client..

From the beginning of this book I really loved Abigail
Harris. She was such a strong, kind and beautiful person. I loved reading her
story. It definitely was a hard story though.. Reading about Abby’s abduction
and the horrors she went through. Cate Beauman definitely knows how to write a
story that keeps you hooked on every single page.

Bodyguard Jerrod was very serious, but in everything he
did you could see the way he cared for Abby. He really wanted to take care of
her. Jerrod was definitely swoon worthy. I loved his character and couldn’t get
enough.

Not only was ‘Justice For Abby’ another beautiful
romantic story, it also kept me on the edge of my seat. There were definitely some
nail-biting and thrilling moments in this book and I just never wanted the
story of Abby and Jerrod to end.  

The Bodyguards of L.A. County really is a great series. I
really recommend it to every romance, bodyguard loving reader out there. And
remember.. when you start reading these books.. You just can’t stop.
