My Recap:

After I read the book a view weeks ago I knew I just had
to see the movie ‘Me Before You’. I watched the trailer several times and just
couldn’t wait to see this beautiful, touching book come to life. So I planned a
movie date with my movie buddy (a colleague who also loves movies and has the
same movie-theater card as I do) so we could go see the movie ASAP.

With a book this good (you can see my review of the bookhere) it’s hard to make a good movie. Especially because you only have this
hour and a half, two hours tops to put all those things from a book in a movie,
and there are always some things that are left out. If you ask me.. the makers
of the ‘Me Before You’ movie did a great job. I loved that movie!!

We were at an early showing of the movie, so the theater
wasn’t completely full.. but every person out there had tears in their eyes
after seeing this movie. Not for me though.. I not only had tears in my eyes..
I was completely bawling my eyes out. This movie completely blew my mind. Of
course there were some things left out, but they made some great choices and it
didn’t bother me at all.

And then the actors.. Wow!! I loved Emilia Clarke and Sam
Claflin. They totally fit the characters and I loved their chemistry. I
couldn’t have imagined a better Louisa and Will.
Emilia Clarke was really good. I especially loved the way
she was able to show all these different facial expressions. She definitely
made a great Louisa. And she was sooo funny.
And Sam Claflin was also very good. And not to forget..
he is gorgeous. But I was especially impressed with his acting. Playing a guy
with quadriplegic isn’t easy, but he definitely pulled it off.
Not only was this movie very beautiful, and touching,
there were also a lot of funny parts. Especially in the beginning. I was
laughing so hard I needed the Kleenex even before the sad parts started. LOL!!
Yep..  for me this
movie was definitely the perfect movie adaption to a great book. I loved it
from the beginning till the end. And I can’t wait to see the movie again.
