My Review:
I’ve been a fan of J.D. Robb and the In Death series from
the moment I received my first book in the series almost a year ago. I have
only read three books in this series so far, but I really love them. I even
consider this my favorite Crime, Romantic Suspense series!
and a great main character. And just like with all books in this series I read,
I didn’t want to stop reading ‘Brotherhood in Death’ until the very last page.
series, the case Lieutenant Dallas is working on is really exciting to read
about. I was hooked to the pages and I really wanted to know who was behind the
kidnapping and the horrible murders. It was really hard to put this book down
and go to bed, because I just wanted to know what would happen next. J.D. Robb
did another great job in making me wonder about the killer and what the real
motive was. And as usual I didn’t see what would happen until the very last
moment.
about. She is tough, good at being a cop and at times really funny. Especially
when she is dealing with a robot who denies her something she wants. This
scenes definitely made me laugh. We also get to see a more vulnerable Eve than
in the previous three books. And this part definitely made me love her
character even more.
connection between Eve and her husband. They are so perfect together it almost
makes me sigh when reading about them.
can easily forget that part at times because it just doesn’t sound so weird
anymore. For example there are robots in the house, and there is an ‘autochef’
that can cook anything you want. I know that’s not exactly something that exist
yet, but I believe it will be something
that’s possible in the near future. Although I do love futuristic reads, I love
that this series doesn’t sound so futuristic that you can’t believe it, I can
easily imagine myself being a part of the world of Lieutenant Dallas.
intriguing, exciting and thrilling until the very end. We get to see all the
awesome main characters and secondary characters from the series and it’s just
another great J.D. Robb book. I can’t wait to read the next book in this
series. Or the first one, since I haven’t read that one! 😉
