First of all, Merry Christmas everybody!!!

I hope you all have a great day filled with happiness,
laughter, good food, good company and  even
some great new books! 😉 I’m working the dayshift in the Hospital, and tonight
my boyfriend and I are having dinner with our family.

Christmas is my all-time favorite holiday. I just love
Christmas and everything about it. So today, I like to share my five
reasons to love this day with you guys.

Christmas Decorations:

One of the things I look forward to all year are the
Christmas decorations. I love decorating our home with Christmas stuff and
lights. And every year I plan one day to go shopping for our tree and buying
some new Christmas stuff. My boyfriend doesn’t really like all the Christmas
stuff, but because I love it so much he always lets me get all crazy. So sweet!
This year I bought a little tree because our home  just isn’t big enough for the big tree of my
dreams! LOL. (But one day!!) This is our home in Christmas style this year:

Christmas Music:

Every year from December 6th one of the radio channels
here in the Netherlands, becomes a Christmas music channel. And every year I
look forward to changing the frequency so I can hear all the Christmas music. I
just love how cozy Christmas music makes me feel. A lot of the music has been
around for years but I still love listening to those tunes. My favorite Christmas
song this year is ‘This Christmas’ by Jessie James Decker. Too bad it isn’t played here in
the Netherlands, but thank god for iTunes.

Christmas Presents:

Another thing I look forward to each year and start
thinking about early on, is Christmas gifts. I love shopping for Christmas
gifts for my family. It’s just so much fun. I always like to buy a view things
for each member of my family, ( I have a very small family, so no worries 😛 )
and I really try to make the gifts look great. This year’s Christmas gifts look
like this:

Family Time:

One of the best things about Christmas is spending time
with my family. I really enjoy the evenings we plan with each other. Although I
have been working with Christmas for more than five years, my family always
makes sure I can also be a part of the celebrations. Sometimes we add another
day to Christmas, and I never have to think or worry about dinner. I just love
sharing Christmas with the people I love.

The Food:

And last but definitely not least, I love the food we
eat at Christmas. It is different every year but it’s always a big happening
and very delicious. I love having all those different courses and sitting
around  a fancy decorated table with each
other. I can’t wait!!

What do you love most about Christmas? And what are your plans this year?
