I really love romance stories. I love to read about
people falling in love and getting to know each other. Since a couple of years
I also enjoy the erotic romance novels. Nothing too heavy on the erotic side,
but books like ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ where the romance is the main angle. So
when I got the opportunity to read ‘Yours Tonight’, the first book in the Reign
series I immediately wanted to start reading.

In ‘Yours Tonight’ we meet Lana. Lana is a woman in her
twenties and scared through something terrible that happened when she thirteen
year old. Now Lana is living her life the best way she cans, but she is a
little lonely. There hasn’t been a guy in Lana’s life for years and she never
really felt loved. One night Lana is getting out of here comfort zone when she
meets Jack. Jack is all muscles and very good looking and way out of Lana’s
league, at least that’s what Lana thinks. But Jack is intrigued by Lana’s
innocence and soon Jack is offering Lana something that will change her life.

From the moment I started reading ‘Yours Tonight’ I could
feel myself get lost in the story. Lana was a character I loved easily, she was
innocent and a little naïve and she just wanted something more from life than
she was getting. The way Lana and Jack interacted with each other was easy and
really fun to read. I loved the honesty between the two of them.

About Jack I feel conflicted, I loved his sexy, dark and
sweet side but throughout the book I felt like he was hiding something. I
really wanted to figure him out but although we get some answers, he still
stays kind of a mystery throughout this book.  

The one thing I found a little hard about this book was
the way Lana just seemed a little too easily attracted to man. She has this
terrible thing in her past and when a handsome man asks her something she is
just a little easy in trusting them. At least that’s what it felt like to me.

Still the was an incredible fun read and I loved the two
main characters. This was definitely a book I could lose myself in and enjoy. I
can’t wait to read the next book in this series!!

“You look flushed,” he said, his tone so raspy it made me want to tell him why.
“I was just thinking of something,” I whispered, my gaze zeroing in on his mouth.
“Oh?” He took one step closer. “Care to share your thoughts?”
