Today I’m really excited to participate in the blog tour
of ‘Thoughful’ by S.C. Stephens. ‘Thoughtful’ is the standalone novel, about
Kellan Kyle’s point of view,  and is a
part of the Thoughtless series. The Thoughtless series consists of three books
which are all available now.

About the Book:

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/23200620-thoughtful
It’s time for Kellan Kyle, the rockstar who captured our
hearts in Thoughtless, to tell his side of the story.
The only place Kellan has ever felt at home is on stage.
Gripping his guitar in a darkened bar, he can forget his painful past. These
days his life revolves around his music and his band mates, and that’s the way
he likes it. And then one woman changes everything . . .
Kiera is the kind of girl Kellan has no business wanting
– she’s smart, sweet, and dating his best friend. Certain he could never be
worthy of her love, he hides his growing attraction . . . until Kiera’s own
tormented heart hints that his feelings might not be one-sided. Now, no matter
the consequences, Kellan is sure of one thing: he won’t let Kiera go without a
fight.

My Review:

When I first read about this series by S.C. Stephens I
was immediately fascinated by the great reviews of the first book ‘Thoughtless’.
Since I haven’t read the first book, I was a little afraid that I wouldn’t really
be able to get into this book. But after I saw this amazing looking cover I
decided I would definitely want to give this book a try. So from the moment ‘Thoughtful’
was standing inside my bookcase, I couldn’t wait to start reading this book. It
grabbed my eye every time I stood inside the room and when I finally was able
to start reading, I dropped everything and neglected my housework.

‘Thoughtful’ is the story of ‘Thoughtless’ but this time
it’s from Kellan Kyle’s point of view and from the moment I started reading his
story I couldn’t stop reading. Kellan is this incredible handsome guitar
playing lead singer who’s living a lonely life. His childhood was horrible to say
the least, and now he spends his days having meaningless sex with girls who are
only interested in him because of his music. But the best part for Kellan, is
that although the sex is meaningless, he isn’t alone for short while. And that’s
all he really wants, not to be alone anymore.
When Kellan’s best friend Denny asks for a place to stay
with his girlfriend, Kellan immediately invites them to stay at his house. But
from the moment Kellan meets Denny’s girlfriend Kiera, everything changes.
The first thing that comes to my mind after reading this
book is WOW!! I wasn’t a S.C. Stephens fan before, but now I just want to
devote myself to her books!! Really, WOW!! From the moment I started reading
this book I was not able to put this book down for even a second. Which was
really a problem because I had to work. So I read way to long, slept way to
short, got to work, raced back home after my shift and continued reading.
‘Thoughtful’ is a book filled with emotion. It keeps you
hooked from the very first page and it really makes you feel all the things the
characters are feeling. And boy are they feeling a lot of things. This book is
filled with love, hurt, dreams, pain and hope and I never wanted it to end. It
was just a rollercoaster.
Kellan Kyle is definitely an amazing character. Even though
he acts like a ash sometimes, I couldn’t help but feel sorry for him. He was
this sexy hard rock star on the outside, but inside he is just like all of us
and I couldn’t help myself in almost crying for him a couple of times. He was
just perfect and I hated Kiera sometimes for breaking his heart all the time.
This book was just incredible and I still can’t stop
thinking about it. S.C. Stephens did an amazing job in writing such a
heartbreaking emotional story. This book will be in my mind for a very long
time and I can’t wait to read more by this amazing author.
