From #1 New York Times bestselling author Lora Leigh comes Her Renegade Cowboy, the final book in the Moving Violations trilogy… He will risk his life… The oh-so-proper school teacher, Lily Donovan has learned, the hard way, that men are not to be trusted. Period. Until Levi Roberts, the new cowboy working at her cousin's ranch, tempts her carefully-built resolve and awakens an all-consuming passion she thought lay dormant. But when she discovers his deadly secret, and her own secrets come to light, Lily unwittingly joins the lethal cat and mouse race between Levi and the man he’s been hunting for weeks. To save her heart… Former Ranger Levi Roberts has seen his fair share of deadly trouble during his years as a tough-as-nails operative. The ultimate expert in undercover investigations, he’s been tasked to find a man with a dangerous agenda in town. Routine work has been boring…until he runs into Lily, the prickly school teacher who tempts him like no other. Getting under her skin has been deliciously satisfying for his red-hot desire, but when Lily lands in the hands of the very man he’s been investigating, Levi will have to fight with every ounce of his heart and soul to save her—and to heal the heart he broke.

After reading the first two books in the Moving Violations series, I was definitely curious about this third book. These first two books left me with mixed feelings, but how can I deny a Cowboy story?!

In ‘Her Renegade Cowboy’ we meet Lily Donovan. Lily has been through something horrible, and she is convinced men can not be trusted. So when she meet the handsome cowboy Levi, she is convinced he is trouble. Levi on the other hand has been crazy about Lily from the moment he first lay eyes on her. But she is definitely trouble and he should stay away from her. The one problem is that Levi simple can’t stay away. There is a connection between them that can’t be denied.

Well.. this book was fun enough, but I didn’t love it as much as I would have liked. The two main characters are fun, and they had chemistry but there was just way to much steamy moments in my opinion. I just need a bit more romance in my stories to really get into it.

The suspense was nice enough, but it only felt like a suspense read near the end of the book to be honest. And I felt myself losing interest a bit.

But I definitely did like the fun little banters between Lily and Levi. Lily really was a character who was able to stand up for herself, and I loved her feistiness. I enjoyed reading about her. And after reading this book, I’m definitely curious about her sister Shay too. She definitely also had something fierce about her.

Overall this was a fun read, but I missed the romance.

Lora Leigh lives in the rolling hills of Kentucky, often found absorbing the ambience of this peaceful setting. She dreams in bright, vivid images of the characters intent on taking over her writing life, and fights a constant battle to put them on the hard drive of her computer before they can disappear as fast as they appeared. Lora’s family, and her writing life co-exist, if not in harmony, in relative peace with each other. Surrounded by a menagerie of pets, friends, and a teenage son who keeps her quick wit engaged, Lora’s life is filled with joys, aided by her fans whose hearts remind her daily why she writes.
