My Favorite.. is a weekly meme hosted by Maureen’s Books. In this meme we share every week something we love with each other. Because let’s face it.. The world can be a dark place and it’s time to share something positive. For more info and the upcoming subjects visit the My Favorite Meme. page
This one is
definitely a hard one. As a reader I must say I pretty much love the books
better than the movies. Which isn’t really that surprising, since books give us
so much more information and time with the characters then the books. And obviously,
in a book we can all use our own imagination, where in a movie the choice is
made for us. One example of that for me is the ‘City of Bones’ series by Cassandra
Clare. I love that book series. But the movie.. not so much. The main
characters were all so very different than I imagined them while reading. I
just couldn’t get over that.

Sparks as a book, and I’ve read it several times, I absolutely adore the movie ‘The
Notebook’. It’s one of my favorite movies. The characters fitted perfectly to
the one I imagined in my head. And it just think the actors did an amazing job
with that movie.

I don't think I've ever read or seen any of Nicholas Sparks' books or movies.
I love his books! And almost every movie made of his books is great too. At least.. if you ask me. 😉
I haven't seen all of The Notebook, just bits and pieces. I liked the book.
I just love that movie. And the book is pretty great too. It's one of those books I just have to look through every once in a while. 😉
