Things I Look Forward To In The Next Four Years of Blogging
These last
four years definitely flew by. I remember the day I started blogging so
clearly. I had been thinking of starting my own book blog for a long time. But as
with everything in my life, I needed some time to get the courage to actually
do it. And when I finally did it I was super scared and anxious and really
thought no one would be reading my blog. But soon my first review request
appeared in my email and before I knew it I had several new books to read.

thought no one would be reading my blog. But soon my first review request
appeared in my email and before I knew it I had several new books to read.
And now I haveto turn down review request. I definitely could not have imagined that four
years ago. Although life has definitely got a little more busy the last view
months, and I struggle at times with balancing everything, I can’t imagine not
having my book blog. And for the upcoming months and years I still have so many
things to look forward too.
For one I
hope to be able to review some children books. In August our baby will be born,
and I can’t wait to start reading to and with the baby and maybe even write
some reviews about those books. It definitely would be a lot of fun.

I also
hope to get my own business Maureen’s Book Promotions, off the ground a little
more. Working full-time and starting that new business is a lot of work and I
find it hard to do it all the way I want to. But maybe I’ll manage to do more
when I won’t work as much anymore with the baby. We’ll see.

But what I
look forward to the most is continuing to interact with my fellow book
bloggers, getting the opportunity to read new and beautiful books and sharing
my opinions here with you guys. Book Blogging definitely still gives me a lot
to look forward too.

this week is all about looking back and celebrating four years of Maureen’s
Books.. Let me share my first post I ever put online with you.. And no.. it’s not pretty. But we all had to start somewhere right?! I for one am that my posts got a little better over the years. LOL!
