Biographies.
Hmm.. This is definitely a genre I haven’t read a lot. In total I have maybe
read three. Mostly because I haven’t come across many biographies that
interested me so much that I wanted to read it. I bought the Hilary Clinton
book a view years back. But I never finished it.
was one biography I really loved. To be honest I’m not even sure it really fits
the biography genre. But for me it fits. My favorite biography is ‘Talking As
Fast As I Can’ by Lauren Graham.
do I love Lauren Graham in Gilmore Girls, I also just love everything about her.
I read the fiction novel she wrote, which I really enjoyed and I watched a lot
of her movies and shows. And ‘Talking As Fast As I Can’ really was a great and
funny book that I loved reading. I especially loved the way Lauren wrote this
book. It was just really honest and filled with humor.
my review of ‘Talking As Fast As I Can’ here.

Glad this was such a great book! I haven't read a lot of biographies, but there is one autobiography that I absolutely LOVED. It's Sawdust & Spangles, Stories & Secrets of the Circus by W.C. Coup, and it's about his life as the owner of a traveling circus in the 1800s and the things that happened to him were just incredible!
That sounds like a very interesting biography. I never heard about it before to be honest. I'll have to check it out.

I've avoided The Gilmore Girls because I fear it's the same as Sex in the City or Real Housewives. I'm glad you liked Lauren Graham's book. I enjoy a good biography once in awhile like Ellen Degeneres' Seriously… I'm Kidding made me laugh out loud.
Ow.. let me tell you.. Gilmore Girls is nothing like Sex in the City or Real Housewives. I don't think it isn't even in the same genre. So you have to start watching!! 😉 😛
I love Ellen Degeneres. I have to check that book out.

I don't read many biographies either. I'm not sure if I would enjoy Talking as Fast as I Can, since I've never seen Gilmore Girls and really don't know much about Lauren Graham, aside from her being on it. My favorite is The Ballad of the Whiskey Robber.
I've never heard of The Ballad of the Whiskey Robber. But I guess that's not saying much since I don't read many biographies. 😉

I didn't participate this week because I don't really read nonfiction. I would read Lauren Graham's book, though. I loved her on GG and Parenthood.
I think you'll love this book. It was really funny and it just really fitted her I quess.

I also loved Lauren Graham's biography. I'm a huge Gilmore Girls and Parenthood fan. Great pick!
Thanks Chrissy. It really is a fun read right. It made me smile several times.
