Welcome
to Maureen’s Books Wednesday’s Favorites. In the Wednesday’s Favorites
post I will talk about a book I loved and that I think deserves a
little more attention. I read popular books, but also many books that
aren’t so popular (yet). In this post all sorts of books from all sorts
of genre’s will have a chance to shine. Today’s Wednesday’s Favorites
is ‘Someone Else’s Fairytale’ by E.M. Tippets, a book I read in January 2013.
The Book:
over heels for every girl, Chloe Winters, who hasn’t gotten around to watching
most of his movies. It’s the ideal fairytale… for most people. The last thing
Chloe needs is public attention. It brings back dangers from the past that
she’s worked her whole life to escape.

Praise for ‘Someone Else’s Fairytale’:
fairytale. And in my eyes it is very much like a fairytale – where Chloe was
the downtrodden maiden whose family and circumstances kept her from being all
that she could be – much like Cinderella. Yes there’s no magical sparks or
anything in this story but it’s adorable.
this book to romantics especially to those who believe that fairytales can come
true. You never know, they just might…..
surprisingly good. I downloaded it to my phone completely spontaneously today
[as of writing the review] when I forgot to bring my Kindle to school. I had no
idea it was going to be so riveting. I couldn’t stop reading.
amazing and greatly written. E.M. Tippetts makes you love the characters. From
the moment I read about Jason Vanderholt I was completely in love with his
character.
About the Author:
Tippetts and science fiction and fantasy under the name Emily Mah. Before she
was a published author, she was an attorney who specialized in real estate,
contracts, and estate planning, especially literary estate planning.
Her most recent pro publications have been her science fiction and fantasy
short stories in magazines like Black Gate, Analog Science Fiction and Fact,
and the anthology, Shanghai Steam.
