It’s been nearly a decade since Tarzan (Alexander
Skarsgård), also known as John Clayton III, left Africa to live in Victorian
England with his wife Jane. Danger lurks on the horizon as Leon Rom (Christoph
Waltz), a treacherous envoy for King Leopold, devises a scheme that lures the
couple to the Congo. Rom plans to capture Tarzan and deliver
him to an old enemy in exchange for diamonds. When Jane becomes a pawn in his
devious plot, Tarzan must return to the jungle to save the woman he loves.

My Recap:
story of Tarzan. I watched many movies about Tarzan. It doesn’t matter how many
movies I see, I still always love the story of Tarzan. So when I saw the
trailer of ‘The Legend of Tarzan’ a view months ago I just knew I had to see
this movie. This Saturday I finally went to see it.
slow. I did not realize before I went to see this movie, that this movie would
be about the life of Tarzan after he found Jane and started to live with humans
again. This took some getting used to. Thankfully for me, I soon forgot about
all the previous Tarzan movies and started to enjoy this movie.
really was a great Tarzan. I loved the way he looked and talked totally fitting
his role. He was definitely sexy, but above all he really portrayed his
character in a way I could believe he really was Tarzan. The way he looked at the
animals, the way he walked in the jungle. I was definitely impressed.
and Margot Robbie, who played Jane. I totally loved them together.
definitely George Washington Williams, played by Samuel L. Jackson. Boy did he
do a great job. I really loved watching him in this movie. He was funny, brave
and he really gave this movie something extra.
The special effects and the locations this movie was set
in, where really good. It was really beautiful to see the landscapes. And I think
they did a great job with making the animals as realistic as possible.
I really, really loved it. There was a lot happening, and the rest of the movie totally made up for
the slow start.

I've seen several good reviews for this now, I definitely want to see it! I was surprised too that this wasn't an origin story but took up after he moved to England. Interesting. The plot seems vaguely like something from the original books, which is a good thing. I can't wait to see it!
It was really a great movie. And those special effects.. Wow!! I can't wait to watch it again. I can't wait to hear what you think of this movie. 😉
I didn't realize this takes place after he net Jane. It sounds like it was well executed with the right actors to make it believable.
I didn't realize it either until I was sitting there in the movie theater. It was a nice surprise though. 😀
The actor were really good, and not too bad to look at either!! LOL!
I hadn't realized it takes place after he's met Jane either. I am glad you liked this one, It's been on my radar, but likely not one I will get to see before it is out of the theaters. I admit to having a hard time picturing Alexander Skarsgard as Tarzan, but everything I've heard so far says he fits the role well.
I hadn't heard about Alexander Skarsgard before this movie, but I really think he did a great job. You definitely need to see it when it's out of theaters then 😉
