My Review:

When I first saw the title and book cover
of ‘Hot Chocolate’, I honestly thought this book was not for me. I just don’t
really like those erotic books that don’t involve any romance. And seeing the
cover, that was what I thought about this book. But after I read the book
description I became really curious about this read, and decided to give it a
shot.
In ‘Hot Chocolate’ we meet Annabella and
Allesandro de Costa. Annabella is desperate to get the job of master
chocolatier in the De Costa business. Not only because it’s her dream, but also
because the money will make sure that Annabella’s sister is able to get the
help she so desperately needs. When Allesandro offers her the job of
chocolatier, he only has one condition: Annabella must pretend to be his fiancé
so he can shed his bachelor status and become the respected businessman his
company needs. This all seems like a great thing for the both of them. But soon
secrets start to stand between them.
After reading the first chapter of ‘Hot
Chocolate’ I must admit I kind of fell in love with this story and the
characters. It was so much fun to read about all those delicious chocolates
Annabella and Allesandro made. And it definitely made you want to eat some
chocolate yourself. (Yep, this read is really bad for your diet!!)
Although this book definitely had some
parts I didn’t like, for example the beginning where Allesandro was just too
arrogant, most of all this read was really fun. I read ‘Hot Chocolate’ in only
a day. Especially because I really loved the romance between Annabella and
Allesandro. It was sweet to read about those two characters getting to know
each other and falling in love.
If you want an exceptionally good written
novel, with a lot of depth, this book is not for you. But when you’re looking
for a nice and delicious romantic read.. This book is definitely for you.
