My Review:
never heard of this author or this book before so I was really curious what
this book would be about. This book is the fourth book in the Sleeping Beauty
series, but can be read as a standalone.
really where to begin. I don’t come across many books that I didn’t really like
but this book was unfortunately one of them. I haven’t read the first three
books in the series so I can’t say if the previous books are any good. But this
book was just not it for me. It’s an erotic novel. And although I don’t mind
reading erotic romance novels, and even enjoy some of them.. this book misses
the romance and is only based on the erotic side. That is my opinion at least.
There are pleasure slaves, there’s punishment and whipping and I just felt
horrible while reading this book, so I quit reading when I was half way true. I
just couldn’t continue any more. The story just didn’t get to me.
a fairytale, just like this one is based on Sleeping Beauty, this was just not
a fun story for me. I didn’t like the characters at all and I found the idea of
pleasure slaves just horrible.

good writer but honestly I wouldn’t recommend this book. Especially if you’re
not into erotic novels. I feel sad to have to write this about a book, but
since I promised an honest review.. here it is.

Have you really never heard of Anne Rice, as in Interview with a Vampire, The Witching Hour, etc? You poor thing to not have known ahead of time about her "Beauty" books series of erotica. LOL she has also written I believe 3 books in a series about the life of Jesus. Go figure. The woman has a vast and varied interest in genres.
I sure do feel a little stupid. Especially since I love love love vampire books!! LOL!! I put them on my TBR list. The thing was with this book.. I could totally see she is a talented author.. So I'm definitely missing out.
