About the Book:

“If there’s one thing Cleo Reynolds knows, it’s that
she’s not into Adrian King.

The son of a model with the looks to prove it, the experienced author of her
school newspaper’s sex advice column, the cocky playboy with a hint of
darkness. That Adrian King.

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/22888013-adrian-lessonsNope. Nuh-uh. No way.

The problem is, he’s very into her.

After accidentally flashing him, and
slightly-less-accidentally-but-still-totally-unintentionally making out with
him in front of the whole class, she expects to be called crazy. Instead, he
asks her out.

Cleo’s determined not to end up as another notch on his bedpost. Except she
hasn’t done…you know…it
in a while. (Read: ever.) And as a girl who pays her tuition by writing all the
sex scenes in her roommate’s bestselling romance series, the lack of
inspiration has served up a fat slice of writer’s block.

Until her roommate proposes that Cleo and Adrian act out all the steamy scenes
in her book.

It’s just research. No feelings involved.

Nope. Nuh-uh.

No way.”

This book is available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Kobo

My Review:

A view
weeks ago L.A. Rose approached me with the question if I wanted to read and
review her book ‘Adrian Lessons’. After reading the book description I figured
this was definitely the book for me. I love all kinds of books but I was really
in need for a romantic and sexy book. ‘Adrian Lessons’ sounded like the that
kind of book so I started reading it soon.
In ‘Adrian
Lessons’ we meet Chloe. Chloe is a twenty two year old college student and is writing
her best friends ‘sex scenes’. Marie, Chloe’s best friend, is a successful author
but she is just not able to write sex scenes. So Chloe writes them for her.
That is until Chloe is having a serious writers block. Now everything she
writes is just not very interesting to read. When Chloe meets gorgeous playboy
Adrian, Marie tries to get Adrian to help Chloe get her ‘groove’ back. But
Chloe soon finds herself more than attracted to Adrian and that scares her more
than anything. What Chloe and Marie don’t know is that Adrian already knows
Chloe and he is desperate to help Chloe.
When I
read the first page of ‘Adrian Lessons’ I didn’t expect to like this book very
much. I like to read romantic and sexy books but when I read the first page I
was a little scared that this book would be too much sex and to little romance.
Fortunately this book proved to be getting better and better from the second
page on. This book was really truly funny and exciting and the passion between
Chloe and Adrian was almost dripping of the pages. This book was so much more
than I first expected it to be.
The
character I liked the most was definitely Chloe. She was just a character I could
really relate to. Chloe was really insecure about herself due to her previous
relationship and she just didn’t feel like she was worth Adrian’s time. Chloe
worked hard for her college tuition. And the best thing was, Chloe was so so
funny. I really laughed out loud many times while reading this book. Especially
the part where we read about the conversation between Uterus and Brain. LOL!!!
L.A.
Rose writing was very interesting. ‘Adrian Lessons’ is written through Chloe’s
AND Adrian’s point of view and I really loved that. There was a lot going on
inside the heads of the characters and I loved reading about it. This book was
definitely really worth reading and I simply really loved it.

About the Author:

L.A Rose recently made it out of college alive and with
an English degree. She’s a habitual beach bum and a not-exactly-recovered
romance addict. She’s also plucked up the courage to become an indie author! ‘Adrian
Lessons’, a New Adult contemporary romance to be released on August 25th, is
her first book – if you don’t count the ones she wrote before she finally came
up with something publishable. (She prefers not to.)
